    摘要: A water-cooled engine includes first connection paths continuous with a cylinder-head-side water jacket and a second connection path continuous with a cylinder-body-side water jacket. The paths are disposed in a sidewall of a cylinder body. A thermostat valve is attached to the sidewall. An oil cooler having a cooling water lead-in pipe and a cooling water lead-out pipe is attached to one sidewall of an engine main body to face the same direction as that of the thermostat valve. The cooling water lead-in pipe and the cooling water lead-out pipe are connected to the thermostat valve.

    摘要: In a propulsion device for a marine motor, a shift rod (19) extends vertically in a gear case (1a) provided in a lower part of the marine motor, and is provided with a lower end (19a) cooperating with a mechanism for mechanically actuating a clutch device (18) for shifting a power transmission mechanism of the propulsion device. The lower end of the shift rod is additionally provided with a valve (37, 38) that controls feeding of hydraulic oil to an actuator (36) for assisting an effort required to turn the shift rod and actuate the clutch device. Thereby, the manual torque applied to the shift rod to turn the same to a forward and reverse position is assisted by the hydraulic actuator with a minimum modification to a purely manual arrangement for shifting the power transmission mechanism.

    摘要: In a hydraulic apparatus for an automatic transmission having a torque converter with a lockup clutch and CVT, there are provided a first control valve for controlling hydraulic pressure supply to the lockup clutch oil chamber, a first electromagnetic solenoid valve for controlling operation of the first control valve, a second control valve for controlling hydraulic pressure supply to the CVT pulleys, a second electromagnetic solenoid valve for controlling operation of the second control valve, a switching valve interposed between the oil chamber and the first control valve. In the apparatus, when detecting that the first control valve or first electromagnetic solenoid valve is failed and the lockup clutch is locked in engaged condition, current supply to the second electromagnetic solenoid valve is stopped so that it operates the switching valve to disengage the lockup clutch, thereby enabling to forcibly release the engagement without manipulation by the operator.

    摘要: A bolt fastening structure for an internal combustion engine includes bolt fitting holes formed in a cylinder of the engine. An inner wall of a top portion of a crankcase includes boss portions having openings, as an extension to the corresponding bolt fitting holes, with internal threads formed therein. The crankcase further includes hollow recesses formed thereon between the boss portions and crankshaft rotational support portions. Fastening bolts, each having an external thread formed at a tip portion thereof, are extended through the bolt fitting holes, and engaged with the internal threads of the boss portion. The hollow recesses include portions of the openings of the boss portions having the internal threads opened therein.
