    摘要： Devices and methods for securing a graft with respect to bone are provided. One exemplary embodiment of a surgical implant includes a flexible filament body and a suture filament or repair construct that extends through the filament body at multiple locations. The repair construct is formed into one or more coils, which can receive a graft. The flexible filament body can be configured to be actuated between unstressed and anchoring configurations, the latter of which sets a location of the suture filament, and associated graft, in a bone tunnel. More particularly, the flexible filament body can ball up, or become denser, to a size that cannot pass into the bone tunnel in which the suture filament holding the graft is disposed. The present disclosure also provides for feedback units to assist a surgeon in knowing a location of the implant. Further, other exemplary devices and methods are provided.

    摘要： A suture holding system including a suture and a block having first, second and third regions for receiving the suture, having proximal and distal ends, is provided. The suture is received in the first and second regions of the block, defining a first suture portion, and is then received in the third region before passing between the block and the first suture portion, defining a second suture portion. In this configuration, pulling on the distal end of the suture selectively locks the suture to block, whereas pulling on the proximal end of the suture allows the suture to advance freely in that direction. Suture holding system may also include a second block, being rotated 180 degrees with respect to the first block. A delivery device for implanting the suture holding system in soft tissue and methods for repairing a tear in soft tissue are also provided.

    摘要： Bone screws with threaded screw heads that are designed to sit at or below the level of bone include features that allow them to be used to anchor sutures, either directly at the head of the screw or immediately adjacent to it. In particular, the screw head may have a hole or a pair of holes in which a bar or clip can be seated. The bar or clip carries structure that is adapted to retain a suture. Holes in the screw head can also be used to directly retain a bunching-type anchored suture, and can be threaded to retain other types of fasteners. Angled holes may be provided to allow an anchored suture to emerge adjacent to the screw head. Also disclosed are tools and methods for making holes in bone and tissue that are contiguous with the anchoring holes in the head of a surgical screw.
