摘要: Chemically treating ionically conductive sulfide glass solid electrolyte separators or separator layers can improve performance. In particular, treatment involving chemically etching a surface or surface region of the sulfide glass separator to blunt, lessen or remove edge defects or surface flaws, and/or to enhance surface smoothness is cost effective, reliable and well suited for high production environments compared to physical methods of removing scratches or smoothing surfaces, such as mechanical grinding and polishing.

摘要: A composition comprising (i) a matrix comprising a metal oxide, metal sulphide and/or metal selenide as the matrix material, the metal oxide, metal sulphide and/or metal selenide comprising at least two metals M1 and M2, and (ii) a metal M3 which is mobile in the matrix. The atomic ratio of M1 to M2 is within the range of 75:25 to 99.99:0.01; the valence states of M1, M2 and M3 are all positive; the valence state of M1 is larger than the valence state of M2; the valence state of M2 is equal to or larger than the valence state of M3; and the metals M1, M2 and M3 are different.

The solar cell includes a first conductive region positioned at a front surface of a semiconductor substrate and containing impurities of a first conductivity type or a second conductivity type, a second conductive region positioned at a back surface of the semiconductor substrate and containing impurities of a conductivity type opposite a conductivity type of impurities of the first conductive region, a first electrode positioned on the front surface of the semiconductor substrate and connected to the first conductive region, and a second electrode positioned on the back surface of the semiconductor substrate and connected to the second conductive region. Each of the first and second electrodes includes metal particles and a glass frit.

摘要: An electrically conductive glass seal for providing a hermetic bond between an electrically conductive component and an insulator of a spark plug is provided. The glass seal is formed by mixing glass frits, binder, expansion agent, and electrically conductive metal particles. The glass frits can include silica (SiO2), boron oxide (B2O3), aluminum oxide (Al2O3), bismuth oxide (Bi2O3), and zinc oxide (ZnO); the binder can include sodium bentonite or magnesium aluminum silicate, polyethylene glycol (PEG), and dextrin; the expansion agent can include lithium carbonate; and the electrically conductive particles can include copper. The finished glass seal includes the glass in a total amount of 50.0 to 90.0 weight (wt. %), and electrically conductive metal particles in an amount of 10.0 to 50.0 wt. %, based on the total weight of the glass seal.

摘要: A conductive paste contains at least a conductive powder, glass frit, and an organic vehicle. The conductive powder is a mixed powder of an atomized powder prepared by an atomization method and a wet reduced powder prepared by a wet reduction method and the conductive powder contains the atomized powder in the range of 5 to 40 wt %. The atomized powder is 5.2 to 9 μm in average particle size and the content of a chlorine component mixed in the conductive powder is 42 ppm or less. The conductive paste is applied in the form of a line onto a glass substrate 1 and subjected to firing to form conductive films. This conductive paste can prevent glass substrates from undergoing color changes and prevent base layers for conductive films from having structural defects such as cracks.
