摘要: Provided is an isolated TrkB agonist antibody that binds to an epitope contained in one of the extracellular domains of TrkB and is capable of activating TrkB, wherein the extracellular domains comprises extracellular D1, D2, D3, D4, D5 domains and juxtamembrane domain of TrkB. Methods of using the TrkB agonist antibody in treating or reducing the risk of a TrkB associated conditions in a subject, wherein said condition is selected from cell differentiation, synaptic development, neural injury repairing and/or neurite branching.

摘要: An scFv-Fc dimer binds and neutralizes TGFβ1 selectively and with high affinity and avidity. The scFv region may comprise the same VH and VL domains or CDR regions as metelimumab. The unique combination of their smaller size, high selectivity, potency against TGFβ1, and long in vivo half-life makes the scFv-Fc dimers ideal candidates for therapeutic applications.

摘要: The present invention relates to Tri-Specific Binding Molecules, which are multi-chain polypeptide molecules that possess three Binding Domains and are thus capable of mediating coordinated binding to three epitopes. The Tri-Specific Binding Molecule is preferably characterized in possessing binding domains that permit it to immunospecifically bind to: (1) an epitope of a first Cancer Antigen, (2) an epitope of a second Cancer Antigen, and (3) an epitope of a molecule that is expressed on the surface of an immune system effector cell, and are thus capable of localizing an immune system effector cell to a cell that expresses a Cancer Antigen, so as to thereby facilitate the killing of such cancer cell.

摘要: This application provides, inter alia, antibodies or antigen-binding fragments thereof, targeting cell surface GRP78 expressed on tumor cells, tumor endothelial cells, and tumor initiating cancer cells. These anti-GRP78 antibodies, or antigen-binding fragments thereof, have a high affinity for GRP78 and are less immunogenic compared to their unmodified parent antibodies in a given species, e.g., a human, and function to inhibit GRP78. Importantly, these isolated novel antibodies and antigen-binding fragments thereof, attenuate PI3K signaling and promote apoptosis in tumor cells, while leaving normal cells unaffected. The antibodies and antigen-binding fragments are useful for UPR-targeted cancer therapeutic treatments.

摘要: The present invention provides compositions for the production of an antibody or functional fragment thereof directed against Sialyl-Lewisa (sLea). The compositions of the invention include polynucleotides encoding a heavy chain and/or a light chain variable domain that binds to sLea. The invention also provides an isolated antibody or functional fragment thereof and methods of treating or preventing a disease, such as cancer or tumor formation, wherein the antibody or functional fragment includes a variable heavy chain domain and a variable light chain domain that has an amino acid sequence provided herein. The invention further provides a conjugate of an antibody or functional fragment thereof conjugated or recombinantly fused to a diagnostic agent, detectable agent or therapeutic agent, and methods of treating, preventing or diagnosing a disease in a subject in need thereof.
