摘要: The present invention relates to a thermosetting binder composition containing water and a water-soluble oligomeric ester of at least one saccharide chosen from reducing sugars, non-reducing sugars and hydrogenated sugars, the hydrogenated sugars being chosen from the group consisting of erythritol, arabitol, xylitol, sorbitol, mannitol, iditol, maltitol, isomaltitol, lactitol, cellobitol, palatinitol, maltotritol and hydrogenation products of hydrolyzates of starch or of lignocellulose materials, and of at least one polycarboxylic acid, the binder composition having a dry matter content of between 50% and 80% by weight, the water-soluble oligomeric ester representing at least 80% by weight, preferably at least 90% by weight, of the cry matter content of the thermosetting binder composition, and the thermosetting binder composition containing less than 10% by weight, preferably less than 5% by weight, with respect to its dry matter content, of free sorbitol.
It also relates to the use of such a binder composition for the manufacture of a product based on mineral or organic fibers which are bonded by an insoluble organic binder.-

摘要: A shape memory elastomeric composite that has temperature-controlled, shape memory, and reversible adhesive properties, and is soft enough to confirm to an irregular surface. The composite is formed from a synthesized polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane-containing thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer and poly(ϵ-caprolactone) by electrospinning the two components separately and simultaneously and then hot compacting the electrospun composition to form a dense film.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a novel copolymer: poly [(3,4-dihydroxymandelic acid)-co-(lactic acid)]. This novel copolymer can be produced from renewable feedstocks, possesses tunable degradation, and can achieve adhesion strengths rivaling the performance of existing glues and adhesives. In one aspect, a polymer is presented. The polymer includes poly[(3,4-dihydroxymandelic acid)-co-(lactic acid)]. The polymer can be an adhesive. The adhesive is configured to have tunable degradation. The polymer is derived from renewable resources. The renewable resources can include any one of or a combination of starch, cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin, chitin, polyphenols, poly (isoprene), suberin, polyterpenes, polyterpenoids, polyhydroxyalkanoates, rosin-based polymers, triglyceride-based polymers, alginates, and/or proteins.

摘要: A biaxially oriented laminate film including a core layer including a blend of crystalline polylactic acid polymer and a metal salt phosphorus-containing compound nucleating agent which is biaxially oriented at low transverse direction orientation temperatures to impart a degree of cavitation around the metal salt phosphorus-containing metal such that a white opaque cavitated appearance and a lower film density and improved mechanical properties are obtained. The laminate film could further have additional layers such as a heat sealable layer disposed on one side of said core layer including an amorphous polylactic acid resin and/or a polylactic acid resin-containing layer disposed on the side of the core layer opposite the heat sealable layer, a metal layer, or combinations thereof.
