Abstract:
Glue Grease, has been designed and made as a lubricant to be used in moving mechanical parts in difficult environmental conditions as an anti-abrasion material in order to increase the longevity of parts prone to friction.
Abstract:
The invention provides a dispersant viscosity modifier, and more specifically a metal free dispersant viscosity modifier. The invention provides compositions, including lubricating compositions containing the described dispersant viscosity modifier, such as heavy duty diesel lubricating compositions. The invention further relates to the use of the described dispersant viscosity modifier to improve the film thickness and/or antiwear performance of a lubricating composition, for example, a heavy duty diesel lubricating composition. The improved dispersant viscosity modifier of the invention is specially designed to protect against valve train and other crankcase wear in lubricating applications, including heavy soot conditions such as heavy duty diesel lubricating applications.

A lubricating composition, method of making, and method of use are disclosed. The lubricant includes an esterified copolymer including a backbone that includes units derived from a vinyl aliphatic monomer and units derived from a carboxylic acid monomer, the carboxylic acid monomer comprising an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid or derivative thereof. The lubricating composition also includes an oil of lubricating viscosity. The lubricating composition includes no more than 2.5 wt. % of dispersant for dispersing oxidation products, other than the esterified copolymer.

This invention relates to a composition, comprising: an unsaturated functionalized monomer of from about 5 to about 30 carbon atoms, which is: (a) polymerized to form a functionalized polymer; (b) copolymerized with a comonomer to form a functionalized copolymer; or (c) reacted with an enophilic reagent to form a polyfunctionalized monomer. The polyfunctionalized monomer may be polymerized to form a polyfunctionalized polymer which may be further reacted with one or more additional reagents. The invention relates to lubricants, functional fluids, fuels, dispersants, detergents and polymeric resins.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a multiple function dispersant viscosity index improver, a method of making the multiple function dispersant viscosity index improver, and a lubricating oil comprising the multiple function dispersant viscosity index improver. The multiple function dispersant viscosity index improver comprises two different functional groups, each directly grafted to a polymer backbone having graftable sites. The first functional group comprises the reaction product of an acylating agent and a first amine, the first amine comprising an aromatic primary amine, and the second functional group comprises the reaction product of an acylating agent and a second amine, the second amine comprising an aliphatic primary amine. The first functional group provides the dispersant viscosity index improver with soot handling performance attributes and the second functional group provides the dispersant viscosity index improver with sludge and varnish control performance attributes.
