摘要： Compositions including a vegetable- or animal-derived oil, such as fatty acid alkyl esters, are stabilized against oxidation using an oxygenated aminophenol antioxidant. The aminophenol includes one or two carbon-containing group(s) including a hydroxyl group and/or ether group separated from the N atom by one or more carbon atoms. The oxygenated aminophenol antioxidants effective at controlling oxidation at moderate and even low amounts, useful in a variety of different oil and methyl ester fatty acid preparations, and were effective at elevated temperatures, and performed significantly better than convention antioxidants.

摘要： A dispersant includes the reaction product of an amine and at least one equivalent of glycidyl ether where the amine is selected from a group consisting of aminoethylpiperazine, bis(2-(piperazin-1-yl)ethyl)amine, 4,4′-methylenebiscyclohexylamine, m-xylenediamine, diethylenetriamine, and triethylenetetramine and where the glycidyl ether has the structure (A), where R is selected from aromatic carbon chains, non-aromatic carbon chains and polyalkylene glycol groups. The dispersant is useful in a lubricant with a base oil for increasing soot dispersibility of the lubricant.

In addition the engine lubricant can include other typical engine oil lubricant additives including dispersants, anti-foaming agents, anti-oxidants, anti-wear additives, demulsifiers, etc.

摘要： A bactericide is added to conventional water-soluble cutting fluids to suppress deterioration by microorganisms. Such fluids are however accompanied by the drawbacks that the bactericide has a narrow antibacterial spectrum and moreover its effects last a short time. It is the object of the present invention to offers water-soluble cutting fluids which remain resistant to a wide variety of microorganisms for a long time. The present invention therefore offers water-soluble cutting fluids to which has been added a specific amine selected from amines known to date.
