    摘要: An intake control system for an internal combustion engine is capable of ensuring a differential pressure across an EGR valve, and controlling an EGR amount with high accuracy. A target fresh air amount is set based on a demanded torque calculated according to operating conditions of the engine. A differential pressure across an EGR valve is set as a target differential pressure. When it is determined that the across-valve differential pressure is not in a state in which the target differential pressure can be ensured, an opening degree of the EGR valve is controlled to limit an EGR amount. An opening degree of a throttle valve is controlled based on the target fresh air amount, so as to ensure the target differential pressure.

    摘要: A heat exchanger cleaning system (HECS) includes an engine having an intake conduit and an exhaust port, and an EGR cooler having a cooler inlet in fluid communication with the engine exhaust port, a cooler outlet in fluid communication with the engine intake conduit, and an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve disposed between the engine exhaust port and the EGR cooler. A first pressure sensor is disposed between the engine exhaust port and the EGR valve, and a second pressure sensor disposed in the engine intake conduit. A controller is in electrical communication with the EGR valve, the first pressure sensor, and the second pressure sensor. The controller is configured to implement a predetermined set of operating parameters for the engine and/or the EGR valve, wherein implementation of the predetermined set of operating parameters causes an increased flow velocity of exhaust gas through the EGR cooler.

The control device stops the energization of the electric motor after reaching of the sensed opening degree of the valve to an energization stop opening degree, which is set on a valve opening side of a full closing degree of the valve in a valve opening direction of the valve. A return spring urges the valve in a valve closing direction of the valve. The target opening degree is set on a valve closing side of the energization stop opening degree in the valve closing direction.

    摘要: A genset comprises an engine; an alternator, an exhaust system, a controller, and at least one of an intake system, an EVAP system, a fuel injector, an EGR system, a SAI system and an aftertreatment system. The controller is configured to control at least a portion of the genset. The controller is in electrical communication with one or more of the alternator, the EVAP system, the EGR system, the SAI system and the aftertreatment system via communication circuitry. Furthermore, the controller is configured to: (a) receive an electrical output from the alternator via the communication circuitry, (b) determine a load on the alternator from the electrical output, which corresponds to mechanical load on the engine, and (c) generate an electrical signal configured to at least partially control operation of at least one of the EVAP system, the EGR system, the SAI system and the aftertreatment system via the communication circuitry.
