摘要: Auxiliary transmission actuation mechanism 200 in a power transmission unit of a vehicle includes a transmission actuating gear 202, a gear driven bush 204, a gear actuating means 206, a shift fork 208, a shift rail 210, a clutch control valve actuating arm 212, a rail shifting means 214. The transmission actuating gear 202 is used to drive at least one of an even shaft and an odd shaft which in turn drives an output shaft through gears thereby propelling the vehicle when at least one of a dual clutch unit and a hydraulic system of vehicle is not functioning. The clutch control valve actuating arm 212 is adapted to engage a movable member of a clutch control valve assembly 100V thereby actuating clutch control valve 100V to de-actuate the dual clutch unit.

摘要: A shift-by-wire transmission system is provided. The system includes a gearbox that is configured and arranged to receive a rotational input and provide a select rotational output. The gearbox includes a plurality of gear assemblies that are operationally coupled together to provide the select rotational output from the rotational input. A shift assembly is operationally coupled to the plurality of gear assemblies of the gearbox to selectively change gearing of gearbox. An electric motor is operationally coupled to the shift assembly to activate the shift assembly to selectively change the gearing of the gearbox. A manual shift override is employed that is coupled between the shift assembly and the electric motor. The manual shift override is configured and arranged to manually disconnect the electric motor from the shift assembly and activate the shift assembly.

摘要: A transmission and control method are disclosed which ensure proper stroke pressure and minimize torque transients during a shift event. The transmission includes a clutch having a torque capacity based on a fluid pressure, a torque sensor adapted to measure a torque value that varies in relationship to the torque capacity, and a controller. The method includes varying the fluid pressure around a predetermined value, measuring a resulting torque difference with the torque sensor, and adjusting a clutch control parameter if the resulting torque difference is less than a threshold value.

After the predetermined amount of time elapses, the requested shift is allowed to occur.

摘要: A starting clutch control device for an automatic transmission has a starting clutch controller. The starting control device controls a transmission torque capacity of a starting clutch interposed in a transmission path in which rotation of the power source is transmitted to wheels while shifting is underway by the automatic transmission. The starting clutch controller controls the transmission torque capacity of the starting clutch such that a rotation trajectory of the power source develops as desired in a low rotation speed range in which the transmission torque capacity control of the starting clutch is necessary. The starting clutch controller causes the transmission torque capacity of the starting clutch to change, when a shift of the automatic transmission occurs during the transmission torque capacity control by the starting clutch controller, in a direction in which the change in the rotation trajectory will occur corresponding to the shift.

摘要: A method of controlling a shift-by-wire transmission is provided. The method monitors a setting of a shift assembly that sets a select gear from gearing of the transmission. A motor is activated to adjust the setting of the shift assembly when the monitoring of the shift assembly indicates that the then current setting of the shift assembly is outside of a course window of a desired gear. The course adjustment window is centered about a nominal target position for the desired gear while being within an acceptable range of the select gear. The motor is shut off when the monitoring of the setting of the shift assembly indicates the setting is within a fine adjustment window of the desired gear. The fine adjustment window is also centered about the nominal target position for the desired gear. The fine adjustment window is narrower than the course adjustment window.
