    摘要: An automotive light including a substantially basin-shaped rear body structured so to be fixed onto the vehicle body; a front lenticular semi-shell provided with at least one band-like, transparent or semi-transparent portion; and at least a first lighting assembly, which is structured so as to emit light when electrically powered and is arranged so as to backlight the band-like; the first lighting assembly including: a first light-guiding plate made of photoconductive material which extends from the bottom of the rear body up to/close to the front lenticular semi-shell, while remaining perpendicular to the front lenticular semi-shell; and a second light-guiding plate made of photoconductive material, which laterally rests on/is joined with one of the two larger faces of the first light-guiding plate, close to the front lateral side of the same first light-guiding plate, so as to form an L-shaped structure which extends tangentially to the front lenticular semi-shell.

    摘要: The lighting device for a vehicle has at least one central reflector (10), which is formed as a substantially closed hollow body. The reflector (10) is formed from two reflector parts (11, 12), which have light outlet openings facing each other. The reflector parts (11, 12) are shaped like portions of an ellipsoid of revolution and are arranged so that their first focal points (Fl) coincide and their second focal points (F2) lie on the peak of the opposing reflector part (11, 12). The light emitting body (16) of the light source is arranged in the vicinity of the first focal points (F1). Because of this structure of the reflector (10) almost all of the light issuing from the light emitting body (16) is concentrated on the second focal points (F2) of the reflector parts. A light guide (18) is positioned to guide light away from each reflector part in the vicinity of its second focal point (F2). The light guide (18) conducts the light entering its end portion connected to the reflector (10) to a vehicle light outlet unit (19). The vehicle light outlet units (19) can have their own reflector (21) for collection and formation of the light beam from the light issuing from the light guide (18).

    摘要: A bireflective lens element comprising a light input surface and a direct transmitting area communicating with the light input surface. A light source is disposed adjacent to the light input surface for projecting light into the lens element to create a light emitting assembly. A first portion of input light is directed through the lens elements in a first predetermined pattern. A primary and a secondary reflecting area is between the light input surface and an illumination surface surrounding the direct light transmitting area. A second portion of input light is redirected through the lens element to the illumination surface in a second predetermined pattern. Specifically, the secondary reflective area has a plurality of extracting facets extending inwardly into the secondary reflective area for intercepting light from the primary reflective area. The first predetermined pattern combines with the second predetermined pattern to output light from the illumination surface in a substantially uniform pattern covering the broad area of the lens element.

    摘要: According to the present invention, a resin molded product provided with engaging projections to be engaged with engaging members, which have been previously formed in side walls of a frame member, and wing members to be in contact with top portions of the side walls of the frame member alternately formed on the side walls thereof is used as a rod lens of the linear light source. Thus, a curvature of the rod lens can be optionally selected and the linear light source is superior also in assembling. In addition, in the case where this rod lens is composed of a lens surface covering a width of opening of the frame member and an almost flat counter surface positioned opposite to this lens surface, a light-scattering effect is brought about in the counter surface of the rod lens by taking a refractive index or a thickness of this rod lens into consideration, whereby a width of illumination can be increased.
