摘要: A product index mechanism for a product inspection system includes a material strip driving wheel and an index structure driving wheel. The material strip driving wheel engages with a material strip carrying a plurality of products to be inspected by an inspection device of the product inspection system. The driving wheel drives the material strip to move. The index structure driving wheel rotates synchronously with the material strip driving wheel and includes a plurality of product index structures thereon. As a product on the material strip is moved by the material strip driving wheel to an inspection position of the inspection device, one product index structure on the index structure driving wheel is rotated to a trigger position corresponding to a trigger of the inspection system. Activation of the trigger transmits a trigger signal to the inspection device to inspect the product.

摘要: A system, apparatus, and method for estimating remaining useful life of a bearing are provided. The method includes receiving a request for analyzing a defect in the bearing from a source. The request includes operational data associated with the bearing. An impact of the defect on the bearing is monitored over a period of time. A time period during which the impact of the defect on the bearing is higher than a threshold range is determined using a machine learning model. A severity of the impact associated with the defect is computed during the time period. A remaining useful life of the bearing is determined based on the severity and the operational data during the time period.

摘要: A method for evaluating a weld in a formed object includes performing a contact mechanics test of a first region that includes the weld and storing one or more corresponding weld surface mechanical property measurements, performing a contact mechanics test of a second region that excludes the weld and storing one or more corresponding base material surface mechanical property measurements, determining a relative difference in the weld surface mechanical property measurements and the base material surface mechanical property measurements, determining one or more weld width measurements on the exterior surface of the formed object, and evaluating the weld based on the determined relative difference in the weld surface mechanical property measurements and the base material surface mechanical property measurements in relation to the determined weld width measurements in order to provide an index of weld quality that is traditionally measured through a destructive test or examination.

摘要: A medium such as an ink or sealant for disclosing movement is provided. Also provided are a tape having the medium applied to it, and a method of disclosing movement of one or more elements. The medium is applicable as a settable liquid or paste to components, such as a nut and bolt or a flexible hydraulic hose, for which untightening or kinking movement is to be detected. The medium has an appearance, e.g. color, and contains distributed microspheres containing a second liquid having a different, usually much brighter, appearance. Once the medium is set, unwanted movement, such as untightening of the nut or kinking of the hose, will fracture the microspheres and the second liquid will be released to transform the appearance of the medium and alert an observer.

摘要: A method for estimating a level of damage to perishable cargo during transportation of the cargo using data collected by a portable monitoring device. The method includes measuring vibrational data associated with the cargo. The vibrational data is monitored by a vibration sensor of the portable monitoring device. The method further includes incrementing a counter in the portable monitoring device in response to an amplitude of the measured vibrational data exceeding a predetermined threshold. The method also includes determining if the counter value exceeds a predetermined value, and generating an alert indicating damage to the cargo in response to determining the counter value has exceeded the predetermined value.

摘要: An aircraft air data probe contamination monitor includes at least two air data sensor probes, a first probe located on one side of the aircraft, a second probe located on an opposite side of the aircraft, each probe being operable to generate a parameter value from an airflow passing the in-flight aircraft. The monitor also includes a processor operable to compare the generated parameter value from the first probe to the generated parameter value from the second probe to determine if one of the first probe and the second probe is contaminated.
