摘要: A space active optical cable (SAOC) includes a cable including one or more optical fibers, and two or more electrical transceivers on opposing ends of the cable and interconnected by the cable. Each of the electrical transceivers includes an enclosure that encloses one or more light sources, one or more light detectors, and control electronics. Also included in the enclosure are a coupling medium to couple light into and out of the one or more optical fibers. The coupling medium can be reflecting surface or an on-axis mount. The enclosure provides a suitable heat propagation and electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding, and the cable and the two or more electrical transceivers are radiation resistant. SAOC features optionally support a health check algorithm that allows trending optical performance in the absence of an optical connector and a potential surface treatment to increase nominally low emissivity of an EMI conductive surface.

摘要: A cable adapter or connector for an ATEM camera converter includes a bracket secured to at least two holes on a bottom of the ATEM camera converter. Also included is at least a Neutrik opticalCON® fiber chassis connector secured to a cut-out in the bracket by at least two rivets. Two dual ST chassis connectors or dual FC chassis connectors are installed in the cut-out of the bracket using one or more wide nuts with one or more lock-washers. There is also one or more fiber optic cables that terminate with at least one of the Neutrik opticalCON® or dual ST or dual FC chassis connectors. The fiber optic cables terminated with either Neutrik opticalCON®, dual ST or dual FC connectors may be used with the camera converter.

摘要: This invention relates to cable equipment, specifically, to geophysical cables, and is intended for lowering and lifting of geophysical instruments and devices, for supplying them with electric power, and for providing communication between surface equipment and instruments used during geophysical studies of horizontal and uphill portions of oil and gas wells. The geophysical cable for study of horizontal and uphill portions of wells contains at least one current-conducting core and an outside coating; at least one current-conducting core is located in a mass of polymer composite material armoured with glass or carbon fibers. The technical result of the proposed invention is to increase the longitudinal elasticity of a geophysical cable for study of horizontal and uphill portions of wells, which would ensure its self-rectification during operation, while preserving its strength and stiffness for pushing geophysical devices in horizontal portions of wells.
