摘要: The present invention relates to a cathode for an X-ray tube, an X-ray tube, a system for X-ray imaging, and a method for an assembly of a cathode for an X-ray tube. In order to provide a cathode with an improved and facilitated assembly, a cathode (10) for an X-ray tube is provided, comprising a filament (12), a support structure (14), a body structure (16), and a filament frame structure (18). The filament is provided to emit electrons towards an anode in an electron emitting direction (24), and the filament at least partially comprises a helical structure (26). Further, the filament is held by the support structure, which is fixedly connected to the body structure. The filament frame structure is provided for electron-optical focussing of the emitted electrons, and the filament frame structure is provided adjacent to the outer boundaries of the filament. The filament frame structure comprises frame surface portions arranged transverse to the emitting direction, and the filament frame structure is held by the support structure.

摘要: An electron gun assembly that emits three electron beams, which are arranged in line, toward a phosphor screen includes three cathodes arranged in line, three first grids arranged to face the associated cathodes, and a second grid with an integral structure that is disposed to face a phosphor screen side of the first grids. Each of the first grids is formed of a cup-shaped electrode body having an electron beam passage hole. The electron gun assembly further includes an insulation member through which the three first grids penetrate, the insulation member thus integrally holding the three first grids, a cylindrical member that surrounds the insulation member and has an implant part, and an insulating support member that supports the implant part of the cylindrical member.

摘要: A cathode-ray tube comprises a bulb formed by connecting a panel having a phosphor provided on the inner surface and a funnel having a conductive coating film provided on the inner wall, an electron gun housed in the neck portion of the funnel, and springs that are provided for a final electrode of the electron gun. The springs have contact portions to electrically contact the coating film on the funnel inner wall and the final electrode, in which the specific resistance value of the contact portions of the springs is determined to be greater than that of the graphite coating film contacting with the contact portions. As only one kind of conductive coating film need be applied, the production process can be simplified compared to the case for using plural kinds of coating films, and problems in connecting the junctions of the coating films can be also resolved. Furthermore, the maximum instantaneous current generated at a discharge inside the bulb can be reduced, and thus, malfunction or breakage of the circuit parts of a TV set can be prevented.

摘要: According to one embodiment, an X-ray tube includes an anode target, a cathode including a filament and a convergence electrode which includes a groove portion, and an envelope. The groove portion includes a pair of first bottom surfaces which are located in the same plane as the filament and between which the filament is interposed in a width direction of the groove portion, and a pair of second bottom surfaces between which the filament and the pair of first bottom surfaces are interposed in a length direction of the groove portion and which are located closer to an opening of the groove portion than the pair of first bottom surfaces.

摘要: The present invention provides an electron gun which is excellent in voltage-resistant characteristics and has a first electrode less deformed, and a method of manufacturing the same. An electron gun according to the present invention is such one that includes a first electrode and other electrodes, in which electrodes excluding the first electrode and a holder for fitting an electrode are supported by an insulating supporter member. A first electrode structure into which the first electrode and a cathode are integrated with each other is fitted to the holder. This allows a deformation of the first electrode due to beading to be avoided. Moreover, because whole electrodes supported by the insulating supporter member can be washed before fitting the first electrode structure, it is possible to make an electron gun have excellent voltage-resistant characteristics.

摘要: An electron gun for a CRT includes a pair of bead glasses separated from and parallel to each other, supporting electrodes of the electron gun. An electrode has electron beam passing holes and at least one electrode support embedded in each bead glass. The electrode support includes at least two embedding protrusions embedded in the bead glass. One of the protrusions is longer than the other protrusion. The structure of the electrode support is improved so cracks in a bead glass during a beading process do not occur and twisting in a gap between the bead glass and an electrode support is minimized. There is no gap between the bead glass and the electrode, so leakage current does not flow between the electrodes, improving the lifetime of electrical features of the electron gun.
