摘要: An apparatus and method for detecting one or more target molecules includes a hydrophobic substrate, and a sensor. The sensor includes two or more electrodes disposed on the hydrophobic substrate and separated from one another by a gap, a plurality of nanostructures formed on or within an upper surface of each electrode, a plurality of binding molecules attached to the plurality of nanostructures, wherein the plurality of binding molecules are configured to bind with the one or more target molecules, and wherein the upper surface of each electrode and the plurality of nanostructures are hydrophilic, and may further detect two or more analytes with two or more sensors that detect two or more different modalities, such as, electrical, optical fluorescence, optical resonance, magnetic detection, or acoustic waves.

摘要: Disclosed is a composition including controlled release particles, wherein each of the controlled release particles includes: (a) a core including at least one hydrophobic active ingredient; and (b) a wall at least partially surrounding the core and including the reaction products of: (i) an organofunctional silane; (ii) an epoxy; (iii) an amine; (iv) an isocyanate; (v) an epoxide curing agent; (vi) a basified biodegradable resin; (vii) a pre-reacted natural material resin; (viii) a pre-reaction product of polyisocyanate; wherein the controlled release particles are effective to retain the at least one hydrophobic active ingredient upon exposure to water and effective to release the at least one hydrophobic active ingredient in response to friction. A method for preparing the composition is also disclosed.

摘要: The invention relates to a biodegradable chemical composition with a chelating effect on arsenic, lead and mercury, comprising: (i) between 20 and 30 weight % of chitosan (poly-D-glucosamine); (ii) between 40 and 60 weight % of natural zeolite; and (iii) between 20% and 30 weight % of eggshell membrane. In a preferred embodiment, the composition comprises: 25 weight % of chitosan (poly-D-glucosamine); (ii) 50 weight % of natural zeolite; and (iii) 25 weight % of eggshell membrane. The invention also relates to all products used for personal hygiene, cleanliness and care that can include the biodegradable chemical composition as an additional component of the product.

In the process a combination of a dispersion liquid, an active ingredient and a wax is passed at a temperature at which the wax is molten into a high energy micro-particle producing machine operating at a temperature at which the active ingredient and wax are kept molten and producing a composition comprising a plurality of micro-particles dispersed in said dispersion liquid by cooling said combination to a temperature below the solidification temperature of each of said micro-particles before each said micro-particle leaves said micro-particle producing assembly.

摘要: The present invention concerns polymeric-enveloped microparticles including at least one HASE type acrylic copolymer, at least one solid-liquid phase change material with a phase transition temperature ranging from 20 to 90° C., and at least one active agent. In particular, the microparticles include at least one HASE type acrylic copolymer including at least one anionic monomer with a polymerizable vinyl group and a carboxyl group, at least one non-ionic hydrophobic monomer with a polymerizable vinyl group, and at least one alkoxylated associative macromonomer with a polymerizable vinyl group and a hydrophobic hydrocarbon chain.
