摘要: An apparatus of purifying exhaust gas of a hybrid vehicle includes an electric supercharger disposed on an air intake line, a post-treatment unit disposed on an exhaust gas line and including an electrically-heated catalyst, an exhaust gas recirculation unit including an exhaust gas recirculation cooler disposed on a recirculation line connecting the post-treatment unit and the intake line and an exhaust gas recirculation valve disposed on the recirculation line, a three-way valve disposed at a position at which the recirculation line diverges into a front end portion and a rear end portion of the intake line, and a controller electrically connected to the three-way valve and configured for controlling the three-way valve connecting the intake line and the recirculation line at the front end portion of the electric supercharger to be selectively opened or closed.

摘要: Substances in external EGR gas are smoothly guided to a combustion chamber. An intake passage includes: a main intake passage including intake ports and communicating with a combustion chamber and having a supercharger interposed in the main intake passage; and a bypass passage branching off from the main intake passage upstream of the supercharger, and connected downstream of the supercharger; a flow rage adjustment valve changing a cross-sectional flow area of the bypass passage. The bypass passage is provided above the main intake passage, and includes an upper passage to which an EGR passage is connected.

摘要: The present invention provides a supercharger with an electric motor having improved cooling performance for bearings, in the case of employing a grease lubrication system as a lubrication system of the bearings.A supercharger with an electric motor includes: a rotary shaft; a compressor wheel; a compressor housing for housing the compressor wheel; an electric motor including a motor rotor and a motor stator, and giving rotation force to the rotary shaft; a motor housing, for housing the electric motor; a first grease-sealed bearing for rotatably supporting the rotary shaft; and a bearing housing for housing the first grease-sealed bearing, and disposed between the compressor housing and the motor housing. Inside the bearing housing, a cooling passage through which a cooling medium flows is provided in a circumferential direction on an outer circumferential side of the first grease-sealed bearing.

摘要: An electric supercharger includes an electric motor, a compressor wheel rotated by the electric motor, and a compressor housing. The compressor housing includes a first passage through which air is introduced, an introducing port connecting to an EGR device, a second passage through which at least one of air and EGR gas is flowed, a bypass passage through which at least one of air and EGR gas is flowed, and a bypass valve to open and close the bypass passage. When the bypass valve is opened, air introduced from the first passage and EGR gas introduced from the introducing port are flowed through the bypass passage to the internal combustion engine. When the bypass valve is closed, air introduced from the first passage and EGR gas introduced from the introducing port are compressed in the compressor wheel and flowed through the second passage to the internal combustion engine.

摘要: A valve reference position-learning device for an internal combustion engine, which is capable of accurately learning the reference position of a valve both before and after the warm-up of the engine, while properly reflecting thereon a deviation of the reference position caused by the thermal elongation of the valve and drive system after the warm-up of the engine. The valve reference position-learning device calculates and updates a learned value of the reference position of the wastegate valve both at and after the start of the engine, by first and second learnings, respectively. The learned value calculated by the first learning is stored as an existing learned value. Further, at the start of the engine, if the calculation of the learned value is not completed, the learned value is set to the existing stored learned value.
