    摘要: A system for monitoring and/or controlling equipment in a hazardous area can include at least one sensor disposed within the hazardous area. Each sensor can be non-electrical and can be adapted to interact with the equipment and generate at least a first sensor output and second sensor output. The first sensor output can be indicative of a first equipment state and a second sensor output can be indicative of a second equipment state. The system can also include at least one converter disposed outside the hazardous area. Each converter can be in communication with at least one of the sensors. Each converter can be configured to receive the first and second sensor output and generate a converter output signal based on at least one of the first and second sensor outputs.

    摘要: A threat detection system includes a facility including at least three separate rooms located in the facility and a positive pressure zone located external to the facility. A ventilation system is coupled to the at least three separate rooms. A first room is located in the facility, wherein the first room includes a first room pressure zone that is negative with respect to the positive pressure zone external to the facility. A second room is located in the facility and connected to the first room, wherein the second room includes a second room pressure zone that is negative with respect to the first room pressure zone. A third room is located in the facility and connected to the second room, wherein the third room includes a third room pressure zone that is negative with respect to the positive pressure zone external to the facility and positive with respect to the second room pressure zone, whereby the first room pressure zone, the second room pressure zone, and the third room pressure zone result in air within the facility or entering the facility to flow into the second room.

The method comprises receiving current data from a climate system in a fault condition, calculating an anomaly score for the climate system from a first set of transition probabilities based on the current data and a second set of transition probabilities based on the climate system operating in a normal condition, and generating automatically a diagnosis of a first problem causing the fault condition when the anomaly score is above a predefined threshold.     摘要: Apparatus and methods of closing and sealing chemical reactor vessels, which are relatively less susceptible to contaminant build-up and more easily maintained in such a state.The chemical reactor vessel comprises a vessel body and a separable head attached thereto wherein the means for attaching and sealing said head to said body comprises; a seal means, a flange means, a shield means and an attachment means.The seal means functions, in compression, to prevent leakage of fluids into and from said chemical reactor vessel. The flange means functions to impose compressive loads to the seal means to cause the seal means to prevent leakage of fluids into and from the chemical reactor vessel. The shield means are integral with at least one of the flange means, which function to substantially prevent contaminants from contacting the seal means and those portions of such flange means which are adjacent to the seal means and which function to inhibit the build-up of contaminants within and adjacent to the attaching and sealing means. The attachment means function to apply compressive loads to the flange means and concurrently function to removably fix the head to the body. The attachment means are subject to the functions of the shield means and which, concurrently, function to fix the shield means to the chemical reactor vessel such that the shield means cannot be separated from the chemical reactor vessel without first disassembling the attachment means and releasing the compressive loads from the flange means.

    摘要: A liquid metal leak detector system including a direct current (DC) power supply and a plurality of analog to digital converters connected to the DC power supply. Each converter includes a liquid metal switch, where the liquid metal switch is closed in event of a liquid metal leak since the liquid metal leak causes electrical continuity between a conductive sheeting and a housing for liquid metal. The converter also includes a comparator connected to both the liquid metal switch for converting an analog signal into a digital signal, wherein the digital signal is configured such that a high signal constitutes no leak and a low signal constitutes a leak. An AND gate is also connected to each of the plurality of converters for combining all of the digital signals output from the converters, the AND gate configured such that the AND gate outputs a high signal if all of its inputs are high and a low signal if any input is low.
