摘要: The present invention relates to molded foam having no hollow space caused in a plate-shaped portion. The molded foam comprises a tube body and a plate-shaped portion joined to the outer side of the tube body. The expansion ratio of the molded foam is lower than two, and a value of a thickness B/a thickness A as a relationship between the thickness A of the tube body at the periphery of a point joined to the plate-shaped portion and the thickness B of the plate-shaped portion is less than 2.82.

摘要: A thermoplastic polyurethane obtained from a reaction mixture comprising: (a) at least one cyclic polyisocyanate, and (b) at least one polyol, in which the thermoplastic polyurethane has gas barrier characteristics which are better than the gas barrier characteristics of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) measured under the same circumstances, wherein the thermoplastic polyurethane is an essentially amorphous material based on the absence of a melting peak in a DSC curve, and the thermoplastic polyurethane has a glass transition temperature Tg situated between 60° C. and 99.5° C. in a DSC curve, and both curves were obtained with differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) as mentioned in the description. Hollow and hard bottles can be obtained from this material and as well as methods for obtaining the material and bottles.

摘要: In one example, a method includes positioning a tool in a mold, forming a parison of melted plastic, closing the mold around the parison and tool such that part of the tool is positioned between a portion of the mold and the parison, creating a blow molded structure by inflating the parison so that the melted plastic comes into contact with an interior portion of the mold and into contact with the tool, and after the mold is closed, operating the tool to form an integral compression molded element within the mold, and a parting line formed by the mold in the blow molded structure forms no part of the integral compression molded element.

摘要: A master batch composition for a weight-reduced plastic product includes a bi-component carrier resin, a core-shell foaming agent, and at least one lubricant. The core-shell foaming agent includes at least one outer polymeric shell and at least one inner foaming agent core. The outer polymeric shell encapsulates the inner foaming agent core. The inner foaming agent core includes alkane. The master batch composition is configured to be integrated into the weight-reduced plastic product by extrusion blow molding with a base plastic resin to create a foamed plastic having a foaming pore size from 10 to 80 μm.

摘要: In a method for producing at least a single-walled tubular thermoplastic body in a machine, a nozzle head extrudes at least one tubular preform. The preform is expanded to a predefined dimension in a transverse direction and to a predefined shape in an expansion process using an expanding mandrel, the preform remaining open at the top and bottom. When the at least one preform has cooled off, the expanding mandrel is changed into a non-expanded state and the at least single-walled tubular body is removed from the machine.

Methods and apparatus for vacuum forming of unitary measuring pipettes are also provided. Gas permeable apertures or pores having a maximum width of no greater than 150 microns, in ranges of 10-100 microns, 10-50 microns, or subranges thereof, may be defined in face plates or inserts received by mold blanks, or defined in molding surface of cooperating mold bodies, and may be used to produce a tubular pipette body having reduced height witness features. Cooperating mold bodies may each be produced from multiple mold body sections with gas passages defined therein and/or therebetween.

assembling the container and the dispensing device; wherein at least a part of the dispensing device housing and/or frame is integrally formed with the container, and wherein assembling the container and the dispensing device comprises mounting a non-integrated part of the dispensing device in the part of the dispensing device housing and/or frame which is integrally formed with the container.-
