摘要: A colored (viz., not black) vitreous enamel coating for an electrosurgical metal cutting blade provides heat-resistant, durable blade coloration and facilitates differentiation or discrimination between, or identification of, different blades. Different colors may be employed on different blade shapes in an array of blades, on blades used for different surgical procedures, or on blades used on different tissue types. The color may be applied to a portion of a blade to denote an edge or other feature. The color may preferentially absorb the primarily blue-hued light emitted by an electrosurgery plasma and preferentially reflect light of other hues; make the blade more visible against surrounding tissues; or discourage reflection of visible or other light (e.g., infrared radiation) in colors that might interfere with markers, sensors or other instruments designed to measure light emitted by or passing through nearby tissue such as by transillumination.

摘要: The present invention discloses a glass composition for an eco-friendly detergent, and a method for preparing glass powder for an eco-friendly detergent by using same, wherein the glass composition based on borate-based glass containing large amounts of MgO, CaO, K2O, Na2O, and B2O3 and a trace amount of SiO2 exhibits maximized elution of ions such as K+, Na+, Ca2+, Mg2+, etc., whereby a high concentration of eluate can be prepared. As a result, the glass composition for an eco-friendly detergent and the method for preparing glass powder for an eco-friendly detergent allow for the repeated use of a certain amount of glass and can uniformly maintain cleansing performance even to 40 cleansing rounds or more.

摘要: A vitreous enamel coating for an electrosurgical metal cutting blade, in which incident light striking the vitreous enamel coating is diffusely reflected or absorbed, and the vitreous enamel coating exhibits a 60° gloss value less than 100 gloss units as measured according to ASTM D523-14, Standard Test Method for Specular Gloss. The coating reduces glare from light sources such as a nearby plasma-mediated discharge, operating theater lights or lights provided on an electrosurgery apparatus. The coating may also lessen interference with markers, sensors or other instruments designed to measure light emitted by or passing through nearby tissue such as by transillumination.

摘要: An enamel composition, a method for preparing an enamel composition, and a cooking appliance are provided. The enamel composition may include phosphorus pentoxide (P2O5) at 15 to 50 wt %; silicon dioxide (SiO2) at 10 to 20 wt %; boron oxide (B2O3) at 1 to 15 wt %; one or more of lithium oxide (Li2O), sodium oxide (Na2O), or potassium oxide (K2O) at 5 to 20 wt %; one or more of sodium fluoride (NaF), calcium fluoride (CaF2), or aluminum fluoride (AlF3) at 1 to 5 wt %; one or more of magnesium oxide (MgO), barium oxide (BaO), or calcium oxide (CaO) at 1 to 35 wt %; and one or more of titanium dioxide (TiO2), cerium dioxide (CeO2), molybdenum trioxide (MoO3), bismuth oxide (Bi2O3), or copper oxide (CuO) at 10 to 25 wt %, such that a heating time required for cleaning may be shortened and oil contaminants may be completely removed.

摘要: The present invention provides a vapour deposition method for preparing an amorphous lithium borosilicate compound or doped lithium borosilicate compound, the method comprising: providing a vapour source of each component element of the compound, wherein the vapour sources comprise at least a source of lithium, a source of oxygen, a source of boron and a source of silicon, and, optionally, a source of at least one dopant element; providing a substrate at a temperature of less than about 180° C.; delivering a flow of said lithium, said oxygen, said boron and said silicon, and, optionally, said dopant element, wherein the rate of flow of said oxygen is at least about 8×10−8 m3/s; and co-depositing the component elements from the vapour sources onto the substrate wherein the component elements react on the substrate to form the amorphous compound.

摘要: Bulk paint and ceramic powder systems, methods of forming same, and methods of forming a flexible ceramic coating on a metal substrate are disclosed. The systems may include a ceramic composition having between 2 to 30 weight percent of an alkali metal oxide, such as K2O, Na2O, and Li2O or mixtures thereof, between 10 to 74 weight percent SiO2, and between 23 to 79 weight percent B2O3. Additives that are nonwetting with molten metals, such as boron nitride, provide durable coatings for metal processing operations. The ceramic composition may include less than 5 weight percent additional metal oxides. The bulk paint system further may include water and a cellulosic suspension agent to form a bulk paint. The ceramic powder system may be processed to form a uniform powder. The bulk paint or uniform powder may be applied to a metal substrate, such as a ferrous metal substrate, dried, and heated to form a flexible coating on the metal substrate.

The article comprises a single-side average reflectance of less than 9% at an incident angle of 60 degrees across a spectrum from 350 nm to 2000 nm. Further, the porosity-graded layer comprises a surface porosity at the first primary surface and a bulk porosity at the first depth, the surface porosity greater than the bulk porosity.
