The invention relates to a mobile vehicle comprising a shiftable transmission having fixed transmission stages and a controllable friction clutch. Said vehicle also comprises a displacement sensor which is connected to an inch pedal and supplies the initial position and the end position of the inch pedal to an electronic control system for adjustment and association with an inch effect of 0 % to 100 %. The electronic adjustment process of the course of the inch pedal using the inch effect and the operating brake enables the crossover point between the operating brake and the actuating force of the clutch to be adjusted. The present invention increases the driving comfort of the vehicle and reduces the danger of damage to the multiplate clutch.
