Reformed gas is supplied from the mixer 5 through a fuel tank (methanol-blended gasoline), heat exchanger 10, reforming device 8, gas passage 15, and an electromagnetic valve 16, and gasoline is supplied from the fuel injection valve 6 through a liquid-gasoline passage 19. A control circuit 22 receives a signal from an intake amount sensor 4 and controls the electromagnetic valve 16 and the fuel injection valve 6, and when an acceleration detecting means 20 detects accelerated state, an increased-amount correcting signal is sent into the electromagnetic valve 16 from a correcting circuit 23, and the amount of feed of reformed gas is increased, and the response in acceleration is improved in comparison with the case where the amount of liquid gasoline is increased.
