    Abstract: The technology relates to a medical video system that includes a video laryngoscope, a cartridge removably attached to the housing of the video laryngoscope, and an introducer such as endoscope. The cartridge may include a port, an output drive, and first electrical contacts. The endoscope may include a proximal end having a drive system and second electrical contacts. The proximal end of the endoscope is sized to enter the port, align the second electrical contacts with the first electrical contacts, and engage the drive system with the output drive such that movement of the output drive causes movement of the drive system. The video laryngoscope is programmed to receive a steering input on the display screen, translate the steering input into a movement of the drive output, and transmit a steering signal to cause the movement of the output drive.

    Abstract: An endoscope device includes a hollow tube, a thermal-conductive member, an image-capturing module, and a heat-dissipation tube. The hollow tube includes an insertion end. The thermal-conductive member is in the hollow tube and adjacent to the insertion end. The thermal-conductive member includes a first end, a second end, and a receiving groove. The first end is near to the insertion end as compared with the second end, and the receiving groove is between the first end and the second end. The image-capturing module includes a camera module and a circuit board in the receiving groove. The camera module is at the insertion end and electrically connected to the circuit board. The first end contacts the camera module. The heat-dissipation tube is in the hollow tube. One end of the heat-dissipation tube contacts the thermal conductive member, and the other end of the heat-dissipation tube extends away from the insertion end.

    Abstract: An endoscopic device includes a handle body operatively couplable to a shaft housing. The handle body includes an actuator for controlling a distal end of an endoscopic shaft extending from the shaft housing. The device also includes a pull wire attachment configured to operatively couple to a pull wire extending through the shaft housing and the endoscopic shaft to the distal end. Applying tension to the pull wire deflects the distal end of the endoscopic shaft. In addition, the device includes a pulling mechanism coupled to the actuator and having the pull wire attachment extending therefrom. When the pull wire attachment is operatively coupled to the pull wire, actuation of the actuator applies tension to the pull wire and deflects the distal end of the endoscopic shaft.

    Abstract: An endoscope connector includes: a plug including an electric contact configured to be electrically connected to an external medical apparatus, the plug being provided with a first substrate; a first frame electrically connected to the plug; a second frame electrically connected to the first frame, the second frame being made of metal; a first electric connection member electrically connected to the first substrate; a second electric connection member connected to the first electric connection member; a substrate unit including a second substrate and an electromagnetic shield member covering the second substrate, the electromagnetic shield member being made of metal; and an urging member configured to urge the substrate unit in a direction of the second frame, and to put the electromagnetic shield member into an electric conduction state by causing the electromagnetic shield member to abut on the second frame.
