Abstract: A method of operating a network server, such as a mobile application gateway, connect devices on a cellular or carrier network with individual networks, such as enterprise voice and data networks or residential networks. The effects of the present invention are far reaching in terms of transferring effective call control from the cellular network into the control of the individual network, such as the enterprise, and enabling new business models for the purchase of cellular service from a public cellular carrier by an enterprise.

Abstract: A dynamic SRMS (DSRMS) in a MPLS network generates unique segment identifiers for nodes of the network lacking segment identifiers (SIDs). The DSRMS receives network information from other nodes of the network that may include, for example, Internal Gateway Protocol (IGP) routing information, advertised prefix values for the nodes, and label values used in MPLS routing. The DSRMS analyzes the information and identifies nodes of the network that are not associated with a SID. For each identified node, the DSRMS generates a unique SID and then announces the SID to other nodes within the network. Generating the unique SID may include executing a hashing function using the IP address of the identified node as an input.

Abstract: Methods and system for automating conferencing in a communication session are provided herein. In some embodiments, a method for automating conferencing in a communication session includes establishing a communication session between a first end-user device and a second end-user device; receiving a first notification message from the first end-user device indicating that the communication session is at least one of visible or joinable by one or more devices associated with the first end-user device, wherein the one or more devices are associated with the first end-user device when the one or more devices are one of (i) pre-registered and stored with an association to the first end-user device, (ii) pre-authenticated to tether the one or more devices to the first end-user device, or (iii) pre-associated with a same user account profile; and sending a second notification message to the one or more devices associated with the first end-user device.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for client-based control of revising caller identifications (IDs) for communications between a private network and a public network. An apparatus including a communications provider server and processing circuit that communicates client-specific sets of data over an interface protocol. The telecommunications-providing server revises a caller ID for a data communication (aka call) based on the client-specific sets of data, an identifier that corresponds to a requesting endpoint, and a geographic region determined from the call request. Further, the telecommunications-providing server connects the VoIP call by accessing and passing a provisioned number. The provisioned number includes the revised caller ID which is a local number identified by the determined geographic region that the endpoint is located.

Abstract: A mobile application gateway for connecting devices on a cellular network with individual networks, such as enterprise voice and data networks and/or residential networks. The invention may consist of a primarily of core network and services components based on the IMS network architecture, and is backward compatible to support legacy systems in place in current telecom and data networks.

Abstract: Described are techniques for video bridging for conversion of IP network video streams to the USB Video Class (UVC). The conversion of IP video to UVC video can include the use of software-only conversions and hardware assisted conversions, and can be done within purpose-built “conversion” devices or as software only solutions operating within applications or drivers within the operating systems of the “end nodes”. The end-nodes simultaneously see and use multiple USB UVC video sources. The conversion process can also convert the USB UVC video control protocol to IP Video Stream control protocols.

Abstract: A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium are provided to receive, from an end device, a registration message pertaining to a voice service that restricts the end device to place a voice call to and receive a voice call from a designated call center; obtain subscription data pertaining to the end device and including an enterprise identifier; determine whether the end device is authorized to use the voice service based on the enterprise identifier; transmit to the end device, an acceptance message indicating a registration of the end device when the end device is authorized; receive from the end device, a session establishment message; replace a uniform resource identifier of the designated call center included in the session establishment message, with the enterprise identifier; select, based on the enterprise identifier, another network device to transmit the session establishment message; and transmit the session establishment message based on the selection.
