摘要: In some implementations, a mobile computing device may participate in the calibration of an output signal of a media device. This calibration process includes storing device-specific calibration data which is related to properties of a light sensor of the mobile device. The mobile device then detects of properties of light emitted by the display device during a presentation to obtain sensor values related to light emitted by the display device during the presentation. The calibration process may also ensure that the mobile device is proximate to the display device prior to obtaining the sensor values. The collected sensor values are adjusted using device-specific calibration data stored to the mobile device to normalize the sensor values relative to a baseline. These normalized sensor values are sent to the media device for use in adjusting the output signal based on the normalized sensor values.

摘要: Exemplified methods and systems facilitate presentation of data derived from measurements of the heart in a non-invasive procedure (e.g., via phase space tomography analysis). In particular, the exemplified methods and systems facilitate presentation of such measurements in a graphical user interface, or “GUI” (e.g., associated with a healthcare provider web portal to be used by physicians, researchers, or patients, and etc.) and/or in a report for diagnosis of heart pathologies and disease. The presentation facilitates a unified and intuitive visualization that includes three-dimensional visualizations and two-dimensional visualizations that are concurrently presented within a single interactive interface and/or report.

摘要: A system is provided that includes a first network interface for a first network type and a second network interface for a second network type that is different from the first network type. The system also includes at least one processor configured to cause the system to perform operations. The operations may include obtaining, from the first network interface, audio from a communication session with a remote device established over the first network and obtaining an indication of a communication device available to participate in the communication session and direct audio obtained from the communication session to a remote transcription system. The operations may also include directing the audio to the second network interface for transmission to the communication device, obtaining transcript data from the remote transcription system based on the audio, and directing the transcript data to the second network interface for transmission to the communication device.

The plurality of application service provider systems provide services for use in association with a telephone number of a subscriber of telecommunication services. At least two of the API interfaces are different, and at least one of the plurality of API interfaces from the plurality of application service provider systems is not compatible with the provider API interface.

摘要: Methods and apparatus for retrieving and providing voice mail messages from a server are described. In accordance with the invention voice mail messages may be retrieved via requests made via a set top box. Voice mail messages are retrieved in response to the request from a voice mail server which is also accessible via the telephone network. Retrieved voice mail is transcoded and included in a video on demand (VOD) file. Text, call ID information and/or other information as, e.g., an automatically generated transcript of the voice mail message, may be included in the VOD file. The VOD file is supplied to a VOD server which provides the file including the message to the set top box for display. A user can view the messages and switch from viewing one message to the next by using video play back commands.

In an embodiment, components of a communication system can operate to generate, maintain, and implement reminders associated with communications and other events. A reminder can be automatically generated and scheduled for one or more users of the communication system when a user is unavailable or unable to take a call. Reminders can be generated to include information which can be used to establish a communication event for a subsequent communication associated with each reminder.
