摘要： Proposed is an yttrium-based granular powder for thermal spraying. The yttrium-based granular powder includes at least one yttrium compound powder selected from the group consisting of Y2O3, YOF, YF3, Y4Al2O9, Y3Al5O12, and YAlO3, and a silica (SiO2) powder. The yttrium-based granular powder is prepared by mixing the yttrium compound powder having a mean grain diameter of 50 nm to 900 nm and the silica powder having a mean grain diameter of 50 nm to 900 nm. The yttrium-based granular powder includes less than 10 wt % of a Y—Si—O mesophase. A thermal spray coating produced using the yttrium-based granular powder can exhibit low porosity, high density, and excellent plasma resistance.

摘要： Embodiments relate to methods for generating selected materials from a natural brine. A natural brine comprising at least a portion of a selected material is heated. CO2 is added and mixes with the natural brine forming a mixture such that the CO2/P is a first predetermined value. The mixture is held so that impurities in the natural brine precipitate as solids leaving a second brine substantially comprising the selected material. The second brine is heated. CO2 gas is injected into the second brine, mixing so that the CO2/P is a second predetermined value. The mixture is held so that the selected material precipitates out and are removed.

摘要： A ceria composite particle dispersion has ceria composite particles having an average particle size of 50 to 350 nm and having the features described below. Each ceria composite particle has a mother particle, a cerium-containing silica layer on the surface thereof, and child particles dispersed inside the cerium-containing silica layer, the mother particles being amorphous silica-based and the child particles being crystalline ceria-based. The child particles have a coefficient of variation (CV value) in a particle size distribution of 14 to 40%. The ceria composite particles have a mass ratio of silica to ceria of 100:11-316. Only the crystal phase of ceria is detected when the ceria composite particles are subjected to X-ray diffraction. The average crystallite size of the crystalline ceria measured by subjecting the ceria composite particles to X-ray diffraction is 10 to 25 nm.
