摘要: An edge image generator in an image processing determining apparatus extracts multiple edges from an image included in display data output from an external device, such as a terminal unit, a navigation unit, or an imaging unit. Then, the edge image generator selects certain edges from the extracted multiple edges by a certain selection method matched with characteristics of the external device to generate an edge image.

摘要: Disclosed is a semiconductor device which is intended to reduce the total number of storage element blocks that constitute a desired logic circuit. The semiconductor device includes N address lines (N is an integer equal to two or more), N data lines, and a plurality of storage sections. Each of the storage sections includes an address decoder for decoding an address supplied via the N address lines to output a word select signal to word lines; and a plurality of storage elements which are connected to the word lines and the data lines, each store data that constitute a truth table, and input or output the data via the data lines in accordance with the word select signal supplied via the word lines. The semiconductor device is adapted such that the N address lines for the storage sections are connected to the respective data lines of other N ones of the storage sections, while the N data lines for the storage sections are connected to the respective address lines of other N ones of the storage sections.

摘要: A vehicle instrument includes a mechanical meter which is attached to an instrument panel of a vehicle, and a projector which projects an image to be superimposed on an indication area of the mechanical meter. The projector projects a graphic image according to the type of display content. In the case where the display content is a warning, a warning image is superimposed on an indicator and the area surrounding the indicator of the mechanical meter. The projector can also superimpose an area image on the display area of the mechanical meter, the area image indicating a cost effective driving range according to a driving state of the vehicle.

摘要: A capacitor has a capacitor element, an open-topped case on which terminals joined to a pair of electrode lead sections of the capacitor element are disposed facing each other, and a cover combined with the open surface of the case. Each terminal has a pair of intermediate conductive sections and a pair of terminal sections. The joint has a joint surface to which one of the electrode lead sections of the capacitor element is joined. The intermediate conductive sections are L-shaped, and are extendedly disposed in directions opposite to each other from both ends of the joint. The terminal sections are disposed further extendedly from the intermediate conductive sections and placed symmetrically about the joint.

摘要: Disclosed is a system for notifying information projected on a windshield, on the basis of a virtual image containing the information. The system controls a virtual image creation unit (23) so that the virtual image is displaced in at least one of a direction corresponding the advancing direction of a vehicle, a direction corresponding to a vertical direction with respect to the advancing direction, and a vehicle width direction. Moreover, the system controls a notification sound creation unit (24) so as to create a notification sound corresponding to the displacement of the virtual image.

摘要: A method is disclosed including: measuring sending amounts of packet data that are input from each of ports providing minimum bandwidth guarantee type and best-effort type communication service; calculating statistical information corresponding to an accounting subject time period of the sending amounts of the packet data of the best-effort bandwidth of each of the ports, based on the result of the measurement; changing a value of a peak information rate of a port sending out more of the packet data at a contracted communication rate to be low based on the statistical information; and impartially allocating the best-effort bandwidth to each of the ports based on the value of the peak information rate and a minimum bandwidth guarantee rate.
