摘要: Provided is a multi-beam laser drilling apparatus for drilling a workpiece, simultaneously at two positions while telecentric errors are suppressed, in which a conventional optical system in which galvanometer mirrors are used for a first laser beam, and a galvanometer-mirror system is located close to an fθ lens in order to prevent occurrence of telecentric error. A second laser beam which has been deflected by a second galvanometer-mirror system, transmits through a polarized beam mixers and is incident upon the first galvanometer-mirror system and the fθ lens, and accordingly, the workpiece is drilled simultaneously at two positions with the use of both first and second laser beams.

摘要: A nanometer size roughened structure is formed on a surface of a light-emitting element, and luminous efficiency is improved. The roughened structure is formed into the following shape to change refractive index smoothly: (1) the mean diameter of projections on the roughened surface is smaller than the light wavelength; (2) a pitch of the roughened surface is irregular; and (3) positions of the top and bottom of the roughened surface are distributed from their mean values within the light wavelength. The surface of such light-emitting element is obtained by forming a thin film on the surface of the light-emitting element using a block or graft copolymer comprising resin composition and forms a self-assembled microphase-separated structure; selectively removing at least one phase of the microphase-separated structure; and etching the surface of the light-emitting element using the remaining phase as an etching mask.

摘要: A laminating film has at least a surface layer and an adhesive layer deposited on a substrate, wherein the surface layer is provided by applying a coating made by blending together at least two types of emulsions. Emulsion polymers included in the emulsions may have different glass transition temperatures. A laminating method using the laminating film includes the steps of press-bonding the laminating film to a printed matter at a temperature not less than the glass transition temperature of the emulsion polymer with the higher glass transition temperature, and separating the laminating film from the printed matter thereafter.

摘要: A color cathode ray tube has an electron gun in its neck portion. Its focus electrodes and anode are fixed by two insulating support rods. A voltage-dividing resistor is disposed in the vicinity of one of the insulating support rods for producing an intermediate voltage applied to a first one of the focus electrodes adjacent to the anode by dividing an anode voltage. The voltage-dividing resistor includes an insulating film, a resistance pattern, an insulating substrate, and a second film containing an oxide of transition metal, in the order named from the insulating film toward the inner wall of the neck portion. A metal conductor surrounding the voltage-dividing resistor and the one of the insulating support rods is fixed to a second one of the focus electrodes which is disposed upstream of the first one of the focus electrodes in a path of the electron beams.

摘要: The impossibility of starting a starter motor by using a non-contact type position sensor for deciding an engine start is eliminated. An engine starting apparatus includes a non-contact type position sensor for detecting the range position of a drive mechanism having a prime mover as a power source; a control device for the drive mechanism; drive means for driving the prime mover; a power source device for supplying an electric power to the drive means and the control device; and conduction means for making the drive means and the power source device conductive in response to a signal from an ignition switch S and a signal outputted by the control device on the basis of the range position detected by the position sensor. As a result, the starter motor can be started without mounting the contact type start switch.
