    摘要： An emergency power supply for a car may supply power to a car in an emergency by using a human power. The emergency power supply includes a manual power generator for generating a power; a charging circuit for controlling a power received from the manual power generator to convert the power into a power required for charging capacitors; a capacitor unit provided with a plurality of capacitors to store the energy applied from the charging circuit into the capacitors; and a connector for connecting the capacitor unit to the car battery. This emergency power supply may generate an emergency power using human power without requiring any complex machine, and it may be substantially permanently used without any maintenance of its energy storage.

    摘要： A method of manufacturing an LCD includes forming a gate line, depositing a gate insulating layer on the substrate, forming a semiconductor layer on the gate insulating layer, forming a data line and a drain electrode on the semiconductor layer, and forming a pixel electrode connected to the drain electrode including a transparent electrode and a reflecting electrode disposed on a portion of the transparent electrode. The lower layer of the reflecting electrode includes an Ag alloy containing Mo, and the upper layer of the reflecting electrode includes a transparent conductive material such as IZO or ITO. The refraction index of second layer may be larger than that of the LC layer, and light reflected on the surface of the second layer and light reflected on the surface of the first layer may constructively interfere with each other.

    摘要： A DVD player and a method of reproducing multimedia files using the DVD player are provided. The DVD player and the method can improve practical applicability and usefulness of a common DVD player by enabling reproduction of multimedia (moving picture) information stored in various multimedia formats (such as, moving picture experts group (MPEG)-4, digital video express (DivX)) via codecs. Codecs that correspond to various multimedia formats are downloaded via a memory stick or other external port so that not only multimedia information stored in MPEG-2 format, which is the basic DVD format, but also multimedia information recorded in various other multimedia formats such as MEPG-4 and DivX, can be reproduced.
