摘要: A power saving method of a terminal in a wireless communication system including an access point for transmitting a beacon frame and a paging frame, and a terminal for compensating for timing offset with the access point using the beacon frame and detecting a position thereof using the paging frame. The terminal supports an active mode in which data transmission/reception is actually performed and a power saving mode in which power consumption is reduced when there is no transmission/reception data. The method includes calculating a paging timing offset generated for a reception interval of the paging frame using the beacon frame, and receiving the paging frame after a lapse of a time corresponding to the paging timing offset in the power saving mode.

摘要: An apparatus and method for receiving data in a mobile station for a mobile communication system using multi-user packet data are provided, in which a preamble power measurer measures preamble power of the multi-user packet data received from a base station and transmits the result value to a controller. The controller compares the measured power with a predetermined threshold, simultaneously decodes the multi-user packet data according to all transport formats if the measured power is lower than the threshold, and decodes the multi-user packet data according to a predetermined transport format if the measured power is higher than or equal to the threshold. A plurality of decoders decode the received multi-user packet data according to a control signal from the controller, wherein the number of the decoders depends upon the total number of transport formats for the multi-user packet data.

Gate patterns and bit line patterns are sequentially formed in a cell array region and a peripheral circuit region of a semiconductor substrate. A bit line interlayer insulating layer is disposed to cover the bit line patterns. At least one resistance pattern is disposed on the bit line interlayer insulating layer in the cell array region of the semiconductor substrate. A planarized interlayer insulating layer is formed on the bit line interlayer insulating layer to cover the resistance pattern. Interconnection lines such as metal interconnection lines are formed on the planarized interlayer insulating layer in the cell array region and the peripheral circuit region of the semiconductor substrate.

摘要: A method of forming a silicon oxide layer in a semiconductor manufacturing process includes forming a planar spin on glass (SOG) layer by coating an SOG composition onto a semiconductor substrate having a stepped portion formed thereon, pre-baking the substrate at a temperature of from about 100 to about 500° C. for about 1 to about 10 minutes, maintaining a loading temperature of a furnace into which the substrate will be loaded at about 500° C. or less, loading the substrate into the furnace, and main-baking the substrate at a temperature of from about 500 to about 1200° C. for about 10 to about 120 minutes to form a silicon oxide layer on the substrate. The SOG layer is transformed into the silicon oxide layer through an optimized process condition. Thus, the silicon oxide layer may have minimal defects and a good layer property.

摘要: A method and apparatus for controlling AMC in an OFDM communication system in which an entire frequency band is divided into a plurality of sub-carrier bands. In the AMC controlling method, power and a number of transmission bits are calculated for each of the sub-carriers in a predetermined method for each of coding methods available in the OFDM communication system. A data rate for each of the coding methods is calculated based on the number of transmission bits and the power for each sub-carrier. A coding method having a highest of the calculated data rates is selected and a modulation method is determined according to a number of transmission bits in the determined coding method.
