摘要: Composite materials and methods for their preparation are described herein. The composite materials can comprise (a) a polyurethane and (b) from 35% to 90% by weight, based on the total weight of the composite, of a particulate filler dispersed in the polyurethane. The polyurethane can be formed by the reaction of (i) one or more isocyanates selected from the group consisting of diisocyanates, polyisocyanates, and mixtures thereof, and (ii) one or more polyols. The one or more polyols that form the polyurethane comprise a high hydroxyl number polyol having a hydroxyl number of at least 250 mg KOH/g. In some cases, the one or more polyols that form the polyurethane can have a weight average equivalent weight of from 200 to 1100 amu. In some cases, the one or more polyols that form the polyurethane can include less than 5% by weight, based on the total weight of the one or more polyols that form the polyurethane, of one or more flexible polyols having a hydroxyl number of less than 150 mg KOH/g and a functionality of less than 3.

摘要: In a process for producing a composite element having at least a covering layer and polyurethane foam, the covering layer is inserted into a mold and a polyurethane reaction mixture is introduced onto the covering layer. The polyurethane reaction mixture is reacted to form a polyurethane foam, wherein the polyurethane reaction mixture is obtained by mixing a) polyisocyanate with b) compounds having isocyanate-reactive OH groups, c) blowing agents including water, d) thickeners and e) catalysts. Bis(N,N-dimethylaminoethoxyethyl) carbamate, N,N,N-trimethyl-N-hydroxyethylbis(aminopropyl ether), N,N,N-trimethyl-N-hydroxyethyl(aminoethyl ether) or mixtures thereof and/or tetramethyldiaminoethyl ether are employed as catalysts and the polyurethane foam has a density of not more than 200 g/dm3.

摘要: An embodiment of a closed-cell polymeric rigid foam may be made using a one-shot method and a reaction system that includes a hydrofluoroalkene physical blowing agent and a polyol mixture having an aminic polyol. The hydrofluoroalkene blowing agent has 3 to 5 carbon atoms and a boiling point between 10° C. and 40° C. at 1 atmosphere pressure. Embodiments of rigid foams may have high closed cell content and are particularly well suited for thermal insulation.

摘要: Clear polyurethane fiber reinforced composites are produced by a pultrusion process with a polyurethane-forming system that includes: (a) a clear, aliphatic polyisocyanate having a viscosity at 25° C. of no more than 1000 centipoise, (b) a colorless polyol component comprising an amine-initiated polyol having a molecular weight of from about 150 to about 400 and an OH functionality greater than or equal to 3, and (c) a catalyst. These fiber-reinforced composites are characterized by both excellent weathering characteristics and excellent physical properties.

The present invention further relates to polyurethanes produced by this process and to the use of these polyurethanes in the interior of means of transport.

摘要: A process for producing a rigid polyurethane foam by reacting an organic polyisocyanate with a polyol component containing a compound with at least two hydrogen atoms which are reactive toward isocyanate groups in the presence of a blowing agent, a catalyst, and optionally auxiliaries and additives, wherein the polyol component contains, by weight: 20 to 60 parts of a polyether alcohol having a functionality of 3.5 to 5.5 and a hydroxyl number of from 400 to 550 mg KOH/g; 1 to 20 parts of a polyether alcohol based on an aliphatic amine and having a functionality of 3.5 to 4.5 and a hydroxyl number of 450 to 900 mg KOH/g; 10 to 30 parts of a polyether alcohol and/or aromatic polyester alcohol having functionalities of 1.5 to 3 and a hydroxyl number of from 150 to 450 mg KOH/g; and optionally 1 to 5 parts of water.

摘要: The invention relates to a polyurethane composition comprising one first component and one second component, said first component comprising an alkoxylated aromatic diol, a low molecular aliphatic or cycloaliphatic diol, a specific polybutadiene polyol and a specific polyetherpolyol, in specific ratios. The hardened composition is characterized by having good adhesion characteristics, a resistance which is only slightly dependent on the temperature, in the temperature range of −35 to +85° C. and also very high resistances. It is particularly suitable as a structural adhesive for bonding two substrates.
