Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for a transportation vehicle. One method includes generating Wireless Internet Service Provider (“WISP”) voucher codes and associated WISP data into a loadable package to establish Internet connections on a plurality of aircrafts; utilizing the associated WISP data to selectively load a subset of WISP voucher codes to an aircraft; deploying a WISP voucher code from the subset for each passenger seat on the aircraft, based on an event; updating a data structure upon deployment of each WISP voucher code to indicate deployed and unused WISP voucher codes of the subset; presenting the WISP voucher code to each passenger seat; determining that a number of unused WISP voucher codes of the subset have reached a threshold value; obtaining additional WISP voucher codes for the aircraft; and deleting the WISP voucher code associated with each passenger seat, upon flight termination.

In the PDU session activation method, after receiving a downlink data arrival notification message, an SMF entity determines that a PDU session for transmitting downlink data is a multi-access PDU session, and then determines at least one access and mobility management function (AMF) entity corresponding to the multi-access PDU session; and the SMF entity sends a session activation trigger message to the at least one AMF entity, and the session activation trigger message carries at least the session identifier of the multi-access PDU session, and the session activation trigger message enables the at least one AMF entity to activate any or specified one of at least two user plane connections corresponding to the multi-access PDU session according to the multi-access PDU session corresponding to the session identifier.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for reducing communications between servers and a mobile device and providing enhanced security and privacy to wireless beacon services. This can involve a broadcast device transmitting a beacon transmission using a short range wireless radio, such a Bluetooth or WiFi, and including a MAC address, a first unique identifier, and a beacon service identifier. The mobile device then selects one or more unique identifiers from received beacon transmissions, by filtering (that is, selecting) those beacon transmissions which include the beacon service identifier. The wireless device then takes further action, if the first unique identifier is present among the selected one or more unique identifiers, using stored information from the server. The stored information may be delivered to the wireless device in response to the wireless device sending the first unique identifier to a server, or the stored information may have been previously downloaded.
