摘要: A process for the recovery of a radioisotope from a waste resin of a nuclear power plant comprises the steps of: a) treating a waste resin loaded with at least one radioisotope with an organic acid or alkaline compound to release the at least one radioisotope and to obtain a process solution containing the at least one radioisotope; b) separating the at least one radioisotope from the process solution through a reaction specific to the radioisotope so as to obtain a treated process solution depleted of the at least one radioisotope, wherein said depleted process solution comprises the organic acid or alkaline compound and optionally a non-reacted radioisotope; c) reacting the organic acid or alkaline compound in the depleted process solution from step b) by thermal and/or photochemical oxidation to form gaseous reaction products; and d) reloading the waste resin with the reacted process solution from step c) to bind the non-reacted radioisotope on the waste resin. Further, an apparatus is provided to carry out the above method.

摘要: Polyester polyol compositions are disclosed. The polyol compositions, which comprise recurring units of a digested thermoplastic polyester, a glycol, and castor oil, ricinoleic acid, or a mixture of castor oil and ricinoleic acid, have hydroxyl numbers within the range of 20 to 150 mg KOH/g and average hydroxyl functionalities within the range of 2.5 to 3.5. The invention includes flexible polyurethane foams that incorporate the polyester polyols. Sustainable polyester polyols made completely or in substantial part from recycled, post-industrial, and/or biorenewable materials such as polyethylene terephthalate, glycols, and castor oil are provided. The polyols have desirable properties for formulating flexible polyurethane foams and other products.

摘要: A process for producing a polyester polyol comprising reacting a recycle stream selected from recycled PET carpet, carpet fiber, containers, textiles, articles or mixtures thereof, with a glycol in a reactor, thereby forming a digested product stream comprising polyols, and an undigested stream; and then reacting the digested product stream with a hydrophobe selected from dimer fatty acids, trimer fatty acids, oleic acid, ricinoleic acid, tung oil, corn oil, canola oil, soybean oil, sunflower oil, bacterial oil, yeast oil, algae oil, castor oil, triglycerides or alkyl carboxylate esters having saturated or unsaturated C6-C36 fatty acid units, saturated or unsaturated C6-C36 fatty acids, alkoxylated castor oil, saturated or unsaturated C9-C18 dicarboxylic acids or diols, cardanol-based products, recycled cooking oil, branched or linear C6-C36 fatty alcohols, hydroxy-functional materials derived from epoxidized, ozonized, or hydroformylated fatty esters or acids, or mixtures thereof.

At the first tab, the sheet is folded to define a first cushion at a downstream edge of the first tab. 摘要: There is provided a collapsible drying rack for easy packing and transport. The drying rack in configurable between a non-operative compacted configuration to an operative deployed configuration where a plurality of arms extends outwardly of the body for drying operation. Reversible conversion of the rack from the non-operative configuration to the operative configuration is performed by actuation of a triggering assembly. Once deployed, each arm may be used for hanging wet items such as clothes or sport's equipment. The drying rack may be anchored to various types of support via a retainer assembly including one or more elements for clipping and/or hanging the drying rack to the support.

摘要: Resin compositions comprising flame retardant materials obtained by heating phosphonic acid salts at temperatures above 200° C., have excellent properties and exhibit manageable curing behavior. Laminates, composites, molded articles and the like, which have excellent flame retardant properties and physical characteristics, are readily prepared from the resin compositions of the invention.
