    摘要: An exhaust emission control device for an internal combustion engine, which is capable of properly regenerating a NOx catalyst, while properly controlling NOx catalyst temperature and ensuring excellent drivability. As a regeneration operation, the exhaust emission control device feedback-controls a detected reducing condition of exhaust gases to a predetermined reducing condition, by controlling the amount of main fuel injected by main injection or feedback-controls the same to the predetermined reducing condition by controlling the amount of auxiliary fuel injected by auxiliary injection. The device determines whether the regeneration operation should be executed in a catalyst temperature control mode for controlling the NOx catalyst temperature. If, as a result of the determination, the regeneration operation should be executed in the catalyst temperature control mode, the device selects the feedback control of the main fuel amount, and otherwise selects the feedback control of the auxiliary fuel amount.

    摘要: An exhaust emission control device for an internal combustion engine, which is capable of accurately estimating the amount of NOx trapped by a NOx catalyst even when a catalyst is provided on an upstream side of the NOx catalyst. A catalyst having the function of purifying NOx and a NOx catalyst for trapping NOx under an oxidizing atmosphere are disposed in an exhaust system. The amount of NOx contained in exhaust gases is estimated. A NOx purification performance of the catalyst is calculated. The NOx emission amount is corrected based on the purification performance. An amount of NOx trapped in the NOx catalyst is calculated based on the corrected NOx emission amount. A reducing agent is supplied to an upstream side of the catalyst based on the trapped NOx amount, thereby causing the NOx catalyst to carry out a NOx reducing operation.

The securing pin 31 is fixed to a metal core 12 of a steering wheel body 11 and supports a bag holder 21 in such a manner that the bag holder 21 selectively proceeds toward and retreats from the metal core 12. The movable member 32 is arranged between the securing pin 31 and the bag holder 21 and electrically insulates the securing pin 31 and the bag holder 21 from each other. The coil spring 35 urges the bag holder 21 away from the metal core 12. The contact terminal 34 moves together with the bag holder 21. When the bag holder 21 moves toward the metal core 12 against the urging force of the compression coil spring 35, the contact terminal 34 contacts the securing pin 31 and permits conduction between the contact terminal 34 and the securing pin 31. This activates a horn device 40 of the vehicle.
