    摘要: Novel, computationally efficient schemes for deterministic wavelet thresholding with the objective of optimizing maximum-error metrics are provided. An optimal low polynomial-time algorithm for one-dimensional wavelet thresholding based on a new dynamic-programming (DP) formulation is provided that can be employed to minimize the maximum relative or absolute error in the data reconstruction. Directly extending a one-dimensional DP algorithm to multi-dimensional wavelets results in a super-exponential increase in time complexity with the data dimensionality. Thus, novel, polynomial-time approximation schemes (with tunable approximation guarantees for the target maximum-error metric) for deterministic wavelet thresholding in multiple dimensions are also provided.

In certain embodiments, each search term that a user inputs for a search query causes a rich set of contextual information having one or more parameters or facets to be presented to the user to further enhance and refine the search query. The context facets can pertain to the search term itself or contextual information that is associated with search results objects that have been previously associated with such search term. Additionally, the user can be queried for a facet to be associated with the search term. The user can then input parameter values or choose selection option (e.g., numbers, strings, links, etc.) for each facet, and search results can then be provided based on such facet parameter values or selection option input.

    摘要: A method for implementing DS-TE in MPLS network is disclosed. The method includes carrying Quality of Service (QoS) parameters relating to resource allocation in a path message when establishing an LSP; reserving bandwidth resource for service traffic according to the QoS parameters; using the reserved bandwidth to forward service traffic after the LSP is established. A system for implementing DE-TE in the MPLS network is also disclosed. The system includes an Ingress LSR, a relay LSR and a Egress LSR. The Ingress LSR or the relay LSR carry QoS parameters relating to the resource allocation in the path message for establishing LSR. The relay LSR reserves bandwidth resource for service traffic based on the QoS parameters and forwards the service traffic based on the reserved bandwidth when receiving the service traffic, after the LSP is established. An LSR is further disclosed according to the present invention. According to the method, system and LSR of the present invention, bandwidth resources can be allocated based on different service class and thus granularity for the DiffServ traffic engineering is further refined.
