Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a sexual massager that is configured to communicate (directly or indirectly) a message to a target in response to an occurrence of an event. The sexual massager may be a sexual aid. Messages may be generated based on various pre-sets and/or user selections established to determine a type of message, content for inclusion in the message, the target, the event, and other customizations. The content of the messages may be generated based on a variety of options, such as random, customized, or based on usage parameters, such as biometric, device settings, and temporal information.
Abstract:
A system and method for treatment of skin including a treatment surface having numerous small energy emitting points for fractional skin treatment as well as negative pressure outlets. During a treatment, negative pressure from the outlets may exert a pulling force on an opposing tissue surface to bring the tissue into contact with the energy points.
Abstract:
A device for applying electrical stimulation to a surface of the human body utilizes a calibrated, pre-arranged pattern of conducting, current emitting elements to distribute current throughout an entire surface at once, such as human face, without needing to alter the device to accommodate various are sizes, including varying face sizes.
Abstract:
A system includes an apparatus and a controller, according to an embodiment. The apparatus is configured to maintain an airway of a subject open while the subject is sleeping by applying to the airway a pressure having a magnitude, and the controller is configured to cause the apparatus to change the magnitude of the pressure over a period that begins at a settable start time. For example, the system can be configured to treat a subject's sleep apnea with positive or negative pressure, and to function as an alarm clock by beginning to change the pressure magnitude at a settable start time, and to continue changing the pressure over a period with a settable duration (or settable stop time) to gently awaken the subject by the end of the period.
Abstract:
A sequential compression and temperature therapy blanket with a plurality of air chambers is disclosed. The air chambers are filled and released by a valve assembly that may be separate from or integrated within the blanket. The temperature therapy blanket includes a fluid bladder for delivering hot and/or cold therapy to a patient. The temperature therapy blanket may also include an air bladder for providing compression.

Abstract:
A method for providing a combined DVT and sequential gradient and targeted compression therapy to a patient is provided. The method includes providing a control unit configured to condition heat transfer fluid and to selectively provide a compressed gas, providing a thermal sequential gradient compression device that is mountable to a select portion of the patient, and programming the control unit to supply heat transfer fluid to the thermal compression device and to supply compressed gas to the thermal compression device.

Abstract:
A device for the transdermal delivery of a therapeutic agent at a treatment site comprising a housing containing: a mechanical vibration element; a light source; a heating and/or cooling clement; a power source for powering said mechanical vibrational element, light source, and heating element; and an electronic control module.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a spacer fabric with advanced cushionability, flexibility, and thermal conductivity, and a method of fabricating the same. In accordance with the present invention, the spacer fabric is useful as a car seat fabric. In particular, the spacer fabric is applicable to a car seat equipped with an actuator and a heating/cooling apparatus inside, due to the advanced flexibility for transferring the actuator moving effect to the body, the increased cushionability for minimizing the hardness of the surface of the device, and the high thermal conductivity for effectively transferring the quick heating/cooling effect to the body.
