Abstract: A power source pack includes: a housing; and a power source module which is housed in the housing. The power source module includes: a cell stack including a plurality of energy storage devices each having a safety valve; and a heat insulator positioned between an inner wall of the housing and the cell stack and having an approximately flat-plate shape. The heat insulator faces the safety valves of the cell stack in an opposed manner.

Abstract: An energy storage device includes a positive electrode and a negative electrode. The negative electrode includes graphite and non-graphitizable carbon, and a D50 particle size of the graphite at which a cumulative volume in a particle size distribution of a particle size reaches 50% is 2 μm or more. A ratio of a mass of the non-graphitizable carbon to a total amount of a mass of the graphite and a mass of the non-graphitizable carbon is 5% by mass or more and 45% by mass or less and a ratio of the D50 particle size of the graphite to a D50 particle size of the non-graphitizable carbon is 1.02 or less.

Abstract: A state estimation device includes: a voltage detecting unit that detects voltages of energy storage devices; and an estimating unit that estimates a charge amount difference between at least two of the energy storage devices. At a reference time point T0 during constant current charging, the estimating unit performs: specific voltage setting for setting, as a specific voltage V0, a voltage of a low-voltage energy storage device at the reference time point T0; time obtaining for obtaining a time point at which a voltage of a high-voltage energy storage device reaches the specific voltage V0; and charge amount difference estimating for estimating the charge amount difference between the at least two energy storage devices based on the reference time point T0, the time point obtained in the time obtaining process, and a current flowing through the plurality of energy storage devices during the constant current charging.

Each of the first energy storage element and the second energy storage element is an energy storage element having an SOC-OCV characteristic having a flat region thereon, and the switch controller switches the switch from an off-state to an on-state when each of the first energy storage element and the second energy storage element is in the flat region of the SOC-OCV characteristic.
