Abstract:
In a multicylinder internal combustion engine a cylindrical member is located downstream of a carburetor, with the cylindrical member disposed parallel to a vaporizing barrel of the carburetor and arranged downstream of the vaporizing barrel. A deflector plate for changing the stream of a fuel-air mixture is provided at a downstream position of the cylindrical member. Further, a cylindrical member with a deflector plate is disposed in the downstream of the primary vaporizing barrel of a duplex carburetor, and a cylindrical member with a slant port is disposed downstream of the secondary vaporizing barrel.
Abstract:
A susceptor support shaft for an epitaxial growth apparatus capable of forming a high quality epitaxial film by suppressing in-plane resistance variation of the epitaxial film due to deflection of a susceptor, wherein the susceptor support shaft supports a susceptor at an underneath portion of the susceptor in an epitaxial growth apparatus. The susceptor support shaft includes a support column located substantially coaxial with a center of the susceptor; a plurality of arms extending radially from the support column to positions under a peripheral portion of the susceptor; an arm connecting member connecting tips of the arms next to each other; and support pins extending from the arm connecting member, thereby supporting the susceptor.
Abstract:
A thin film manufacturing method and a thin film manufacturing apparatus are provided to manufacture a thin film with good reproducibility. A dummy substrate is conveyed into a chamber, and a dummy processing gas is supplied to the dummy substrate. Moreover, a product substrate is conveyed into the chamber, and a raw material gas different from the dummy processing gas is supplied to the product substrate. The raw material gas contains metal material for manufacturing a thin film with a metal organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) method. Since the raw material gas is not used as a dummy processing gas, the amount of metal material to be used can be minimized in manufacturing the thin film with good reproducibility.
Abstract:
There is provided an information processing device including a memory, an OS that acquires location information of data stored in the memory, and a BIOS that performs power control to cause the memory to transition to a power saving state with reference to the location information acquired by the OS.
Abstract:
An unvulcanized rubber extruder that realizes extrusion forming of an unvulcanized rubber extrudate ensuring manufacturing of a high-quality tire without any increase of tire manufacturing steps. In the vicinity of left side end portion, in the drawing, of unvulcanized rubber (A) (rubber chafer part), unvulcanized rubber (B) flows along parallel wall (56) on the downside of main rubber flow channel (34) and flows along second inclined surface (38) on the upside of the main rubber flow channel (34). Simultaneously, apart from the main flow of the unvulcanized rubber (B), portion of the unvulcanized rubber (B) is extruded out in the direction perpendicular to auxiliary rubber flow channel (44) (arrow B direction). Accordingly, in the left side end portion, in the drawing, of unvulcanized rubber (A) (rubber chafer part), it appears that the upside and downside are shut in by the flow of the unvulcanized rubber (B).
Abstract:
A light emitting module includes a board on which a plurality of light emitting devices are mounted, a first interconnecting section having first interconnections, one end of each of which being connected to one of an anode side and an cathode side of an associated one of the light emitting devices, a second interconnecting section having second interconnections, one end of each of which being connected to the other of the anode side and the cathode side of an associated one of the light emitting devices, and a power supply portion provided along one side of the board to receive an external power. The second interconnecting section has at least one, but less than the number of the second interconnections, collectively interconnecting portion to which another end of each of the second interconnections is connected.
Abstract:
A light guide (20) has a light receiving portion (21) for receiving light and a wall portion (22) contiguous therewith. The light receiving portion (21) has a light receiving surface on its floor surface (23) side, and includes a reflective surface (21a) in the shape of a curved surface for reflecting light toward the wall portion (22). The wall portion (22) includes a side wall (22S) having a coarse surface (25) for changing the light path of the light inside to one suitable for outward emission.
Abstract:
In a manufacturing apparatus for manufacturing an epitaxial wafer with a wafer being mounted substantially concentrically with a susceptor, a center rod is provided to extend in an up-and-down direction on a side of a non-mounting surface of the susceptor so that its upper end is adjacent to the center of the susceptor. With this arrangement, part of radiation light irradiated toward the susceptor is diffusely reflected by the center rod before reaching the central portion of the susceptor, thereby reducing the amount of the radiation light irradiated to the central portion of the susceptor as well as lowering the temperature of the portion. Since the center rod and the susceptor are not in surface contact, the center rod does not take the heat from the susceptor, thereby suppressing the temperature from decreasing locally at the central portion of the susceptor.
Abstract:
As a feature, a local range image described in a log-polar coordinate system with a tangential plane set as an image plane is used. In a created image, ambiguity concerning an angular axis around the normal is normalized as a power spectrum using Fourier series expansion and changed to an amount invariable with respect to rotation. The power spectrum is dimensionally compressed by expanding the power spectrum in a peculiar space using a peculiar vector. Corresponding points are searched by nearest neighbor in a dimensionally compressed space to calculate a correspondence relation among the points. Wrong correspondence is removed by verification to determine a positional relation among range images. A reliable correspondence relation is narrowed down by verification by cross-correlation and a RANSAC to create a tree structure representing a link relation among the range images. A shape mode is created by applying a simultaneous registration method to plural range images of the tree structure using a result of this registration as an initial value.
