    摘要: A coating structure includes a color base, a first coating layer placed on the color base, and transparent brilliant members contained in the first coating layer, each brilliant member including an alternate lamination of at least two polymers having different refractive indexes and controlling interference light resulting from reflection and interference produced by the alternate lamination and transmitted light other than interference light. The coating structure is provided with a coloring mechanism for producing at least an interference color resulting from reflection and interference of an incident source spectrum produced by the brilliant members, a first object color resulting from direct action of the spectrum with the color base, and a second object color resulting from action of the spectrum transmitting through the brilliant members with the color base. Mixing of the three colors causes a hue varying with the angle.

    摘要: A semiconductor device having a plurality of elements arranged in a one-dimensional or a two-dimensional array includes indices for identifying positions of elements in the device formed in at least one of a horizontal direction and a vertical direction on a semiconductor layer externally of the array of the elements. The indices comprise contact sections connecting different layers of different configurations. The indices can be through-holes or contacts of different shapes, which are different in shape at every 10n-th row and every 100m-th column of the array of the semiconductor elements for use as the addresses of the elements.

    摘要: A solid-state image sensing device has an inverting-amplifier constructed with MOS transistors, which is provided with electrical power through a common output line, and inputs and outputs signals through the common output line. With this configuration, a supply line conventionally used exclusively for supplying electrical power does not pass through a pixel of a solid-state image sensing device, thereby reducing difficulty of manufacturing a fine pixel and making a large aperture area. The inverting-amplifier of this solid-state image sensing device is reset to the same voltage as that of the common output line, and an offset voltage is read out. Thereafter, the electric charge inputted into the inverting-amplifier from a photo-electric converter is inverted and amplified, and the resultant signal is read out. Finally, a difference between the inverted and amplified signal and the offset voltage is obtained and outputted as an image signal.

    摘要: A mechanical seal of an “outside type” for sealing a sealed fluid that may leak from an inside periphery of a sliding face towards an outside periphery is provided. The seal includes a rotating-side sealing element and a stationary-side sealing element disposed so as to be situated externally with respect to a stuffing box. The stationary-side sealing element, which accommodates a spring, is installed on a seal cover that is secured to the housing. The rotating-side sealing element is installed on a collar that is installed directly on the rotating shaft. The rotating side, which comprises the rotating-side sealing element and the collar, is positioned such that rotation takes place in the atmosphere on a machine-exterior side. A balance ratio A2/A1 is 1 or less, A1 being an axial-direction projection area of the sliding face of the stationary-side sealing element and A2 being an axial-direction projection area that is subjected to a seal fluid pressure acting as a motive force in the axial direction relative to the stationary-side sealing element. An annular cooling jacket is disposed between an inside periphery of the housing and an outside periphery of the rotating shaft.

The welded bellows is less likely to be damaged by foreign matter and to be able to use the non-processing-side bellows plate to compensate for any damage to the processing-side bellows plate.
