摘要: An apparatus for cystographic inspection used for observing and measuring the urethrophaxis portion and posterourethovesical angle of a patient of the acraturesis caused by a ventral pressure, comprises a catheter, in the housing of which a flexible urethral locus indicating member, provided with a marking member, is positioned. The flexed condition of the urethral and the posterourethrovesical angle can be clearly confirmed by the urethral locus indicating member, and the position of an exterior urethral opening member, and position of an exterior urethral opening can be surely grasped by the marking member which can be roentgenographed and which is positioned on the urethral locus indicating member and that it is prevented from penetrating into the uretra and this assists in examining of the external urethral opening during roentgenography of the urethral locus indicating member of the catheter.

摘要: An airtight packaging apparatus for covering with a cap a multichip module having LSI chips mounted on a ceramic substrate and for sealing the cap and substrate by means of solder includes a receptacle for accommodating the multichip module, valves for supplying gas to the receptacle and exhausting the receptacle, a retainer for holding the cap and adjusting the positional relation with respect to the multichip module, and a heater for heating solder of the junction between the multichip module and the cap. After solder has been heated and melted, the multichip module and the cap are sealed to each other.

摘要: In a multilayer circuit board wherein a plurality of electronic parts are provided on a first principal plane, a plurality of brazing pads for pins are respectively arranged on a second principal plane and a plurality of wiring layers having wiring nets for connecting said electrical parts are formed between these principal planes. The EC pads for I/O leads for connecting discrete wires is provided to said first principal plane. EC pads are provided on said second principal plane and are connected to the brazing pads for pins in such a manner as to be electrically separable as required. The EC pads for I/O leads and the brazing pads for pins are connected through the interior of the multilayer circuit board and the EC pads are connected to the wiring net through the interior of the multilayer circuit board.

摘要: A fuel injection device comprising electricity-generating means generating electricity by rotation of an engine and outputting a predetermined signal, and a solenoid valve injecting fuel; the valve being opened as a result of a drive current applied to a coil, and the fuel being injected into an intake passage of the engine at a predetermined timing during the rotation of the engine; to ensure that the flow rate required during high-speed operation can be adequately provided in a fuel injection device for injecting/supplying fuel to an engine. The electricity-generating means is an alternating current generation means attached to the engine in a crank angle position at which an output is generated in synchronization with the intake timing of the engine; the signal is an injection command signal applied to the solenoid valve as an alternating-current drive current; and the applied voltage increases with increased engine speed.

摘要: Provided is a light-emitting device including (a) a layer structure obtained by sequentially growing on a base substrate a first compound semiconductor layer of a first conductivity type, (b) an active layer formed of a compound semiconductor, and (c) a second compound semiconductor layer of a second conductivity type; a second electrode formed on the second compound semiconductor layer; and a first electrode electrically connected to the first compound semiconductor layer. The layer structure formed of at least a part of the second compound semiconductor layer in a thickness direction of the second compound semiconductor layer. The first compound semiconductor layer has a thickness greater than 0.6 μm. A high-refractive index layer formed of a compound semiconductor material having a refractive index higher than a refractive index of a compound semiconductor material of the first compound semiconductor layer is formed in the first compound semiconductor layer.

摘要: A semiconductor optical amplifier includes: a laminated structure sequentially including a first compound semiconductor layer composed of GaN compound semiconductor and having a first conductivity type, a third compound semiconductor layer having a light amplification region composed of GaN compound semiconductor, and a second compound semiconductor layer composed of GaN compound semiconductor and having a second conductivity type; a second electrode formed on the second compound semiconductor layer; and a first electrode electrically connected to the first compound semiconductor layer. The laminated structure has a ridge stripe structure. When widths of the ridge stripe structure in a light output end face and the ridge stripe structure in a light incident end face are respectively Wout, and Win, Wout>Win is satisfied. A carrier non-injection region is provided in an internal region of the laminated structure from the light output end face along an axis line of the semiconductor optical amplifier.

摘要: A high voltage is applied between an emitter electrode in an atomizing barrel and an opposed electrode supported to the atomizing barrel to electrostatically atomize a liquid supplied to the emitter electrode into a mist of charged minute particles. A silencer duct is attached to the front end of the atomizing barrel for reducing noises developed when generating the mist of the charged minute particles. Accordingly, the silencer duct can absorb the noises developed around the emitter electrode and the opposed electrode at immediately downstream thereof for effectively reducing the noises.

摘要: A recording device that records information in an optical recording medium includes: a self excited oscillation semiconductor laser including a saturable absorber section to apply a bias voltage and a gain section to inject a gain current, and also emitting a laser light to record the information in the optical recording medium; a reference signal generation unit generating a master clock signal and also supplying an injection signal synchronized with the master clock signal to the gain section of the self excited oscillation semiconductor laser; and a recording signal generation unit generating a recording signal based upon the master clock signal and also applying the recording signal to the saturable absorber section of the self excited oscillation semiconductor laser as the bias voltage.
