摘要： A cylinder head of an internal-combustion engine is disclosed which includes a horizontally divided carrier in which camshaft bearings as well as receiving devices for bucket tappets are arranged. The arrangement is constructed rigidly as a result of longitudinal and transverse webs and, by removing the receiving devices from the cylinder housing, permits the use of a simple casting method for the cylinder head housing.

The oil pump and the endless elements are covered off by means of a covering which consists of a sheet metal part including two thin-walled layers and is constructed pot-shaped in cross section. This light-weight covering which is simple in construction is secured at the end wall of the crankcase by means of an edge flange and by means of bolts.

摘要： The intake system is connected to a cylinder head of the internal-combustion engine that, for each cylinder, has two intake ducts. The intake ducts are located on a joint plane extending vertically with respect to the cylinder bore axis. A curve-shaped pipe body piece of the intake system leads away from the cylinder in which the ducts are continued and have an interlaced course with respect to one another. This course is developed in such a way that, in a horizontal plane extending away from the cylinder head, the ducts are located next to one another--seen in transverse direction of the internal-combustion engine.

In order to avoid a bearing clearance causing noise, a core made of iron metal is poured at least into the bearing cap, said core, by means of a bearing area, directly surrounding the crankshaft journal of a crankshaft, and having lugs for bores connected by a transverse part. The bores are penetrated by the screws in order to fasten the bearing.
