Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a battery module including a plurality of battery unit array structures, a first cover body and a second cover body connected to the first cover body. The battery unit array structures are arranged between the first cover body and the second cover body. The first cover body includes a first carrying portion and a second carrying portion being in a split structure. The plurality of battery unit array structures includes a first battery unit array structure and a second battery unit array structure. The first battery unit array structure is disposed opposite to the first carrying portion, and the second battery unit array structure is disposed opposite to the second carrying portion. Compared with the related art, the first cover body is used for transportation in the present disclosure, and the energy density of the battery module can be improved without an additional component.

Abstract: A battery pack for optimizing the structure of the battery pack includes a case, a battery module and a blocking member. The case includes an accommodating cavity and a drain hole in communication with the accommodating cavity. The battery module is contained inside the accommodating cavity. The blocking member is mounted to the case, and located between the drain hole and the battery module to block a binder for fixing the battery module from entering the drain hole. In the above-described technical solution, the blocking member can produce the effect of reducing or even avoiding binder for fixing the battery module from clogging in the drain hole.

A joint is formed between the upper-layer and lower-layer battery cells and covered by the joint fixed to the battery cell assemblies, swelling of the upper-layer and lower-layer battery cells at the joint is reduced.

The protective plate is provided with a guide groove. The protective plate is configured to shield an explosion-proof valve of a battery cell. The guide groove is configured to be disposed corresponding to the explosion-proof valve, and is configured to guide a flow direction of a flame ejected from the explosion-proof valve. In this application, the guide groove is disposed on the protective plate to guide the flame to a direction away from passengers, thereby protecting the passengers from injury.

The battery module includes a plurality of battery units arranged in a horizontal direction, and each battery unit at least includes one battery cell. A size of the battery module in the horizontal direction is larger than a size of the battery module in a vertical direction. The size of the battery module in the vertical direction is L1, and a size of the battery pack in the vertical direction is L2, where 70%≤L1/L2≤95%.
