摘要: In a method of forming a conductive pattern structure of a semiconductor device, a first insulating interlayer is formed on a substrate. A first wiring is formed to pass through the first insulating interlayer. An etch stop layer and a second insulating interlayer are sequentially formed on the first insulating interlayer. A second wiring is formed to pass through the second insulating interlayer and the etch stop layer. A dummy pattern is formed to pass through the second insulating layer and the etch stop layer at the same time as forming the second wiring. The second wiring is electrically connected to the first wiring. The dummy pattern is electrically isolated from the second wiring.

摘要: A lens shading correction method and apparatus are provided for removing vignetting occurring in digital images due to lens shading. A white image captured by an image pickup device and an image pickup unit is separated into reference white images corresponding to color channels. A vignetting center having a maximum light intensity is estimated in each of the reference white images. Multiple reference segments on each of the reference white images are defined. A lens shading correction value corresponding to each pixel constituting the reference segments are calculated using a corresponding light intensity. A lens shading correction function corresponding to each reference segment is derived using a corresponding lens shading correction value. Vignetting of a general image received in a general image processing mode is removed, using the derived multiple lens shading correction functions.

摘要: For fabricating an image sensor, an isolation structure is formed to define a first active region of a semiconductor substrate. A first transistor and a second transistor of a unit pixel are formed in the first active region. In addition, a threshold voltage lowering region is formed in a portion of the semiconductor substrate near a portion of the isolation structure abutting the second transistor in the first active region. The threshold voltage lowering region causes the second transistor to have a respective threshold voltage magnitude that is lower than for the first transistor. The threshold voltage lowering region is formed simultaneously with a passivation region in a second active region having a photodiode formed therein.

摘要: A method and an apparatus are provided for adjusting white balance of a digital image. An input image is converted into a YCbCr color space. White pixels of the converted input image are detected by determining whether each pixel of the converted input image is included in a preset region of the YCbCr color space. A gain of each channel is calculated from averages of R, G and B values of the detected white pixels. White balance adjustment is performed by applying the calculated gain of each channel to each pixel of the input image.

摘要: A liquid crystal display device includes an array substrate having reflective and transmissive regions in a pixel region, wherein the array substrate includes a reflective electrode corresponding to the reflective region and a pixel electrode on a first substrate. A color filter substrate defines the reflective region and the transmissive region in the pixel region. The color filter substrate includes a color filter with first and second portions that correspond to the respective transmissive and reflective regions on a second substrate. The thickness of the second portion is less than a thickness of the first portion. The combined thickness of the scatter and the thickness of the second portion is greater than the thickness of the first portion; and a liquid crystal layer between the array and color filter substrates.

摘要: Provided is a thin semiconductor package comprising a semiconductor chip and a lead frame, the lead frame including a paddle portion configured for mounting the semiconductor chip in a manner that exposes bonding pads within an aperture formed in a center portion of the lead frame and a peripheral terminal pad portion for establishing external contacts. A plurality of bonding wires are used to establish electrical connection between a lower surface of the paddle part and corresponding bonding pads with intermediate leads providing connection to the terminal pad portions. The semiconductor chip, lead frame and bonding wires may then be encapsulated to form a thin semiconductor package having a thickness substantially equal to that of the terminal pad portions. The thin semiconductor packages may, in turn, be used to form multi-chip stack packages using known good semiconductor chips to form a high-density compound semiconductor packages.

摘要: Disclosed is a wireless LAN system comprising: a memory; a central processing unit segmenting data, which is to be transferred, into frames, generating descriptors containing frame addresses and lengths in the memory, and storing the segmented frames and the descriptors into the memory in accordance with transmission priorities; a media accessing controller calling the frames of data, which is to be transferred, from the memory with reference to the transmission priorities and the descriptors, and temporarily storing the frames; and a transmitter transferring the frames stored in the media accessing controller. It is possible to improve data transmission speed and control facility, satisfying the quality of service for a standard of communication protocol.
