摘要: An improved high speed package printer for producing a plurality of high quality photographs of varying size, shape, and style based on one or a plurality of different film negatives. The improved package printer of the present invention accomplishes the goal of increased throughput and speed through the use of an automatic paper-loading feature, ultrasonic proximity sensors for dynamically measuring paper-slack loops, off-center printing for eliminating the need to advance the paper for punching after each exposure, a rotational prism for creating 10".times.13" photographs without physically rotating the film, a 13-UP lens deck including 12 wallet lenses and a single 5".times.7" retro-focus lens for creating 12 wallet-sized photographs and one 5".times.7" photograph from a single exposure, an automatic diffusion plate cleaner for eliminating the system down time associated with manual diffusion plate cleaning, an improved filtering arrangement for equalizing the amount of energy emitted from each lamp within a photographic lamphouse, and bi-directional film movement for producing a single composite containing a plurality of different images or poses. The high speed package printer of the present invention also boasts an improved film cleaning arrangement for increasing the quality of the prints, as well as penumbra masking for producing photographs having sharply delineated borders.

摘要: Non-corrosive thermal interface materials for use in a test structure and method of use. The test structure includes a heat sink for dissipating heat away from a device under test. The test structure further includes a non-corrosive thermal interface material disposed between the heat sink and the device under test. The non-corrosive thermal interface material is capable of withstanding test conditions for at least 60 minutes for at least 115° C. without staining or leaving residue on the device under test after baking.

摘要: The wobble bearing axle assembly is used for engaging the upper body of a person for use in human powered vehicles and exercise equipment. The wobble bearing assembly converts linear input force derived by the operator into rotational force, which is directed toward the forward propulsion of a wheel. The wobble bearing axle assembly comprises a wobble bearing, a wobble axle, at least two engagement members a first arm and a second arm. The wobble bearing is disposed upon the oblique retainer of the wobble axle. The oblique retainer of the wobble axle is angled offset from the axis of the wobble axle Y. The engaging members are rotatably affixed with the first and second arms through pins which is longitudinally disposed through complementary orifices through the first and second arms and the engaging members respectively. In some preferred embodiments additional bearings are engaged with the pedals powered by the legs of the operator.

摘要: A robotic device has a base and at least one finger having at least two links that are connected in series on rotary joints with at least two degrees of freedom. A brushless motor and an associated controller are located at each joint to produce a rotational movement of a link. Wires for electrical power and communication serially connect the controllers in a distributed control network. A network operating controller coordinates the operation of the network, including power distribution. At least one, but more typically two to five, wires interconnect all the controllers through one or more joints. Motor sensors and external world sensors monitor operating parameters of the robotic hand. The electrical signal output of the sensors can be input anywhere on the distributed control network. V-grooves on the robotic hand locate objects precisely and assist in gripping. The hand is sealed, immersible and has electrical connections through the rotary joints for anodizing in a single dunk without masking. In various forms, this intelligent, self-contained, dexterous hand, or combinations of such hands, can perform a wide variety of object gripping and manipulating tasks, as well as locomotion and combinations of locomotion and gripping.

摘要: A method for verifying the authenticity of a document utilizes artifacts of the printing process. The method includes optically capturing at a predetermined magnification a first image of an indicia printed on the authentic document. A corresponding indicia on a document to be authenticated is optically captured at a predetermined magnification. The captured images and the printing process artifacts depicted therein are characterized. Authenticity is verified where the characterization indicates the captured images are sufficiently identical. An indication is issued as to whether the document is authentic.

摘要: A method of securing a substrate in a semiconductor processing machine. The method includes moving latch bodies between latched and unlatched positions while permitting contact between a clamping member of each latch body and the substrate only if the latch bodies are substantially in the latched position. In the latched position, the clamping members apply a clamping force effective to secure the substrate. Generally, contact is prevented by engagement between a support member and an ramp that is inclined such that the clamping member descends toward the substrate as the latch body moves from the unlatched position to the latched position and only contacts the substrate as the latched position is established.

摘要: A Wave Generating System for Converting Ocean Waves into Usable Energy includes a Base, a Polyp, and a Stem. The Polyp is connected to the Stem. The Stem is connected to the Base. In some preferred embodiments the Base may require a mooring design to counter both the upward force and a tendency to tip, which can release gas.The Base is comprised of a plurality of first chamber, a second chamber, and a third chamber. In some preferred embodiments, the first chamber may be used to store Hydrogen, the second chamber may be used to store Oxygen, and the third chamber may be used to store breathable air for operators. The third chamber is also used for the purpose of imparting buoyancy to the Base.
