A method for emergency actuation of an automated dual-clutch transmission of a vehicle with electrohydraulic control via a transmission control device. The method includes disengaging one clutch of the dual-clutch transmission, in order to realize emergency operation of the transmission and applying pressure on the other clutch after an error signal is transmitted indicating a malfunction of the transmission and/or the transmission control device. In order to keep the complexity of the hardware of the hydraulic system low, both clutches are disengaged, when an error signal occurs, and adjusted to a safe initial state, and an actuating pressure is only re-applied to one of the two clutches after the initial state is reached. In addition to the already existing elements of the hydraulic system, only one device or software is required which detects and selects the clutch that is more advantageous for continued driving operation.

A respective shift element device (6, 7) with continuously variable transmission capacity is provided, between the combustion engine and the electric motor and between the electric motor and the drive. The shift element device (6), between the combustion engine and electric motor, comprises a speed-dependent hydraulic coupling element and a frictional shift element in a parallel power branch. The shift element device (6) has continuously adjustable transmission capacity and is bridged, via the hydraulic coupling element. The hydraulic coupling element actively couples with the electric motor, via a free-wheel overrunning connection (8). This coupling disengages when the speed of the coupling element side of the coupling element is lower than the speed of the electric motor in the area of the free-wheel overrunning connection.

The gear shifts here are carried out as overlapping gear shifts with a first opening (K1) and a second closing (K2) clutch, the overlapping gear shift consisting of a first and a second phase. During the first phase, a banking of the transmission input rotational speed (nT) is adjusted. The invention proposes that upon issuance of the shift command, a time period (t2) is determined until the transmission input rotational speed has reached the banking value (dn). This is compared with a predetermined time (tAD) during which a difference is obtained which provided with a sign is totaled in a summation memory. An adaptation value is stored in a correction value memory when the summation memory exceeds a limit value. As consequence of this, the disconnection pressure level (pAB) of the first clutch (K1) is adapted in subsequent gear shifts.
