The control valves (5, 17) in the valve body (2) are electromagnetically actuatable, and magnet coils are received in recesses (9, 20) of insert elements (19, 32) or in recesses (9) in the valve body itself.

    摘要: A method for operating a fuel injection system of an internal combustion engine is described. The fuel injection system has an injector for metering fuel into a combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine. The injector has an actuator, a control valve and a nozzle needle. In the method, the actuator is supplied a voltage and/or a current during an activation period. The control valve is set into a lifting motion by the actuator. The injector is opened and closed by the nozzle needle, using the lifting motion of the control valve. A further time period is ascertained. The further time period ends at the closing time of the nozzle needle. A function is ascertained, which links the activation period to the further time period. A shortest activation period, for which the nozzle needle opens and produces an injection, is ascertained with the aid of the function. An opening delay period (do1) of the nozzle needle is ascertained as a function of the shortest time period.

Here, the pump piston (5) delimits, in the cylinder bore (4), a pump working chamber (12). Also provided is an inlet valve (20) which is integrated into the cylinder head (2) and via which fuel can be conducted into the pump working chamber (12). Metering of the fuel conducted into the pump working chamber (12) can be achieved by actuation of the inlet valve (20). Here, full charging of the pump working chamber (12) may take place. It is however also possible for partial charging of the pump working chamber (12) to be achieved by means of suitable actuation of the inlet valve (20).

    摘要: The invention relates to an electrically controlled injection system for internal combustion engines, in which a magnet valve that is open when without current is used to control the fuel quantity of a high-pressure chamber in the injection pump. A pressure chamber communicates via a pressure conduit directly with the pump work chamber of the high-pressure pump, and a connection from the pressure chamber to a diversion chamber is controlled by a movable valve member via a valve seat. A diversion bore, and a pressure equalization piston is disposed on the valve member, via a neck, on a side remote from the magnet, so that approximately the same pressure as on the magnet side of the movable valve member prevails on the face end of this pressure equalization piston. The chambers on both face ends of the valve member communicate with one another through a connecting conduit, and a further connecting conduit leads from the magnet chamber to a leakage chamber. In one feature of the invention, first and second throttles are disposed upstream of the face end chamber and at the end of the connecting conduit, so that the valve member is embedded in a hydraulic column of equal pressure.
