A single-layer and multi-touch projective-capacitive apparatus includes: (a) a substrate, (b) a conductive layer configured on the substrate, wherein the conductive layer consists of a plurality of first patterns, a plurality of second patterns, a plurality of third patterns and a plurality of fourth patterns, and (c) a plurality of conductive wires configured on the substrate respectively to connect with the first patterns, the second patterns, the third patterns and the fourth patterns.
Abstract:
A quantized coefficient coding apparatus used in a media coding system includes a determination module, a coding mode arbitration module and a coding module. The determination module determines whether a set of quantized coefficients are defined in a predetermined variable length coding (VLC) table to generate a determination result. When the determination result of the determination module is negative, the coding mode arbitration module determines a best coding mode corresponding to the set of quantized coefficients from a plurality of predetermined coding modes. The coding mode encodes the set of quantized coefficients according to the best coding mode.

An easily disassembling cooling apparatus is assembled onto a circuit board. The circuit board has an electronic element. The cooling apparatus includes a pair of fastening blocks, one or two heat conducting blocks, and at least one heat pipe. The pair of fastening blocks are fastened onto the circuit board and each has a track slot and a concave opening. The heat conducting block is installed between the fastening blocks and contacts the electronic element. One end of the heat pipe is assembled with the heat conducting block. The fastening plate is installed in the track slots of the fastening blocks, flexibly wedged in the concave openings, and has a flexible arm that flexibly presses onto the heat pipe or one of the heat conducting blocks. Thereby, the welding process is not required in the assembling process. The assembling time is reduced, and the electronic element is reliably cooled.

A network device, for forwarding packets from an asynchronous transmit mode (ATM) network over different permanent virtual connections (PVC) to a plurality of terminal devices, includes a storage module, a flag setting module, a buffer, and a sending module. The storage module is for storing an identifier of at least one predetermined PVC, and packets transmitted over the at least one predetermined PVC need to be processed with higher priority. The flag setting module is for receiving the packets transmitted over the different PVCs, marking packets transmitted over the at least one predetermined PVC corresponding to the identifier stored in the storage module, and sending the packets to the buffer for temporarily storing the packets. The sending module is for retrieving the packets from the buffer, and first sending the marked packets to the plurality of terminal devices.

A method for controlling motion module via brainwaves uses brainwaves to control and drive a motion module. The motion module can perform motions in a plurality of motion modes. The method for controlling motion module via brainwaves includes: firstly, obtaining a plurality of brainwave signals. Then, the characteristic value of each of the brainwave signals is analyzed. Next, the characteristic values of the brainwave signals are compared to determine which specified motion mode of the plurality of motion modes the motion module should move in. Finally, the motion module is driven to move in the specified motion mode.

The present invention provides LTCC (low temperature co-fired ceramic) tape compositions and demonstrates the use of said LTCC tape(s) in the formation of Light-Emitting Diode (LED) chip carriers and modules for various lighting applications. The present invention also provides for the use of (LTCC) tape and LED modules in the formation of lighting devices including, but not limited to, LED devices, High Brightness (HB) LED backlights, display-related light sources, automotive lighting, decorative lighting, signage and advertisement lighting, and information display lighting.

A hand tool having an adjustable head with a joint lock mechanism. The joint lock mechanism includes a first engaging device, a second engaging device, a pull button and a first elastic device. The pull button has a knob portion and an engaging portion beneath the knob portion and the engaging portion engages the second engaging device. The first elastic device is received in a first aperture and abuts against the second engaging device with a forward force such that the front end of the second engaging device is pushed to engage the first engaging device.
