The collagen dough comprises water, bovine collagen, sodium benzoate and hydrochloric acid. To produce the collagen dough, the corium layer is separated from bovine hides and treated. The collagen dough may be used, for example, in biomedical applications, such as cell technology/tissue engineering, suture materials, or film and sponges for skin grafting. The collagen dough may further comprise chitosan.

For this, a hemostatic agent containing an active gelling agent based on chitosan and/or its derivatives is used, characterized in that it contains chitosan, its salts and/or its derivatives in the form of a gel having a three-dimensional crosslinked structure as a polymer matrix and components of natural thrombus formation in the form of organic calcium compounds, organic acid and water coordinated on this matrix at a certain ratio of components.

摘要： The present invention relates to stable polymer matrix compositions comprising high concentrations (from about 1.5% w/w to about 3.5% w/w) sodium hyaluronate obtained from a Streptococcus zooepidemicus source and a non-ionic polymer. The polymer matrix composition further comprises polyethylene glycol and methylparaben, and utilizes ingredients that are of pharmaceutical or compendial grade. The polymer matrix compositions may optionally comprise an active ingredient. The present polymer matrix compositions may be used in the treatment of wounds, burns, certain dermatological conditions, vaginal dryness, and in topical, transdermal delivery and sustained release of active ingredients.

摘要： The disclosed invention provides a system and method of artificially retarding fibrin-based blood clot degradation via the sustained release of a protease inhibitor, such as, for example, aprotinin or tranexamic acid (“TA”). The sustained release of the protease inhibitor is accomplished through incorporation within a biodegradable polymer microsphere to produce a protease inhibitor formulation. Next, the formulation along with fibrinogen and thrombin is applied to a wound site where an outer surface of the polymer microsphere degrades in a proteolytic environment to expose and release the incorporated protease inhibitor to the surrounding hydrogel or sealant or clot matrix at the wound site.
