The device and method are directed towards a release of an antimicrobial vapor and water vapor through a permeable container/barrier containing a matrix into which water and an antimicrobial vapor producing material are absorbed.

摘要： An adsorbent composition comprising a nanoscale shell of metal oxide or hydroxide on an organic-templated-boehmite-nanoarchitecture (OTBN) is provided. The nanoscale shell is prepared by impregnating OTBN with a metal or a non-metal ion, followed by in-situ hydrolysis of the deposited ion on the OTBN surface. The thickness of the shell is less than about 3 nm, which is less than the size of OTBN core. The number of layers of the shell is flexible, thereby leading to a multi-layer nanoscale hybrid composition. The adsorbent composition is capable of removing inorganic anions such as fluoride from water, with an increased adsorption capacity.

摘要： A process for producing an oxygen absorbing agent includes treating an alloy with an aqueous solution of an acid or an alkali, the alloy including at least one transition metal selected from the group consisting of manganese, iron, platinum, and copper group metals and at least one metal selected from the group consisting of aluminum, zinc, tin, lead, magnesium, and silicon to elute and remove at least a part of the component; and subjecting the alloy obtained by removing at least a part of the component in the alloy to treatment with an aqueous solution of a salt of an inorganic acid or a salt of an organic acid that can form a salt with the transition metal as the component, to form a metal salt in at least a part of the surface of the alloy.

An absorbent-containing container has a lid body and a bottomed-cylindrical container main body having an opening in an upper surface which is covered by the lid body and which has a paper layer as an inner layer. The lid body is fitted in the opening with an outer peripheral portion being bent upward and held in contact with an inner layer of the container main body. An upper end portion of the container main body is bent from above the lid body toward the lid body to grip the outer peripheral portion of the lid body.
