The method includes: a mandrel disposing step S2 of disposing the pieces 21 to 24 with gaps G1 to G3 between one another; an angle material disposing step S3 of disposing the angle material 3 on the pieces 21 to 24; and a heating to cure and molding step S5 of molding the fiber-reinforced plastic by heating the material of the fiber-reinforced plastic while aligning the pieces 21 to 24 by the angle material 3.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to rotomolded articles, having a wall structure, where the wall structure contains at least one layer containing an ethylene interpolymer product, or a blend containing an ethylene interpolymer product, where the ethylene interpolymer product has: a Dilution Index (Yd) greater than −1.0; total catalytic metal ≧3.0 ppm; ≧0.03 terminal vinyl unsaturations per 100 carbon atoms. The ethylene interpolymer products have a melt index from about 0.5 to about 15 dg/minute, a density from about 0.930 to about 0.955 g/cm3, a polydispersity (Mw/Mn) from about 2 to about 6 and a CDBI50 from about 50% to about 98%. Further, the ethylene interpolymer products are a blend of at least two ethylene interpolymers; where one ethylene interpolymer is produced with a single-site catalyst formulation and at least one ethylene interpolymer is produced with a heterogeneous catalyst formulation.

Abstract: An ultrasonic welding system includes a motion control system that is coupled to and that causes controlled movement of an ultrasonic welding stack, in accordance with control inputs that are based on one or more control signals that are received from one or more sensors. The motion control system initiates a welding operation, subsequent to which an initial motion delay occurs until a predetermined condition is satisfied. Subsequently, in response to the predetermined condition being satisfied, the ultrasonic welding stack is caused to move in accordance with a weld profile. Subsequently, in response to an occurrence of a predetermined delay initiating condition, the ultrasonic welding stack is caused to stop motion and to maintain a stationary position. Subsequently, in response to an occurrence of a predetermined delay terminating condition, motion of the ultrasonic welding stack is resumed in accordance with the weld profile.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to multilayer films having improved caulkability. These multilayer films have at least one layer containing an ethylene interpolymer product, or a blend containing an ethylene interpolymer product, where the ethylene interpolymer product has: a Dilution Index (Yd) greater than 0; total catalytic metal ≧3.0 ppm; ≧0.03 terminal vinyl unsaturations per 100 carbon atoms, and; optionally a Dimensionless Modulus (Xd) greater than 0. The ethylene interpolymer products have a melt index from about 0.4 to about 100 dg/minute, a density from about 0.950 to about 0.970 g/cm3, a polydispersity (Mw/Mn) from about 2 to about 25 and a CDBI50 from about 55% to about 97%. Further, the ethylene interpolymer products are a blend of at least two ethylene interpolymers; where one ethylene interpolymer is produced with a single-site catalyst formulation and at least one ethylene interpolymer is produced with a heterogeneous catalyst formulation.

Abstract: A system and method for fabricating the corner of a plastic window frame. The system includes a metal platen having opposed sides and that is for heating and melting adjacently disposed frame pieces by being inserted between the adjacently disposed frame pieces as the adjacently disposed frame pieces are brought into contact with respective opposed sides of the metal platen in order to melt adjacent surfaces of the adjacently disposed frame pieces. The adjacently disposed frame pieces, once heated and melted, are drawn together to form the corner of the vinyl window frame. A release layer is secured to the opposed sides of the metal platen and disposed between the respective adjacently disposed frame pieces and the opposed sides of the metal platen to prevent adherence between the metal platen and frame pieces. The release layer is comprised of a release film having a work area corresponding to an area where the adjacently disposed frame pieces are to be joined and a non-work area outside of the work area, and at least one adhesive strip is disposed within the non-work area for securing the release film to the metal platen while the work area is absent any adhesive between the release layer and the metal platen.
