This invention provides a method for using a polymer thick film conductor composition to form an electrical conductor in an electrical circuit, the method subjecting the deposited thick film conductor composition to lamination. The invention also provides a method for reducing the resistance of an electrical conductor formed from a polymer thick film conductor composition, the method comprising the step of subjecting the electrical conductor to lamination. The invention further provides devices containing electrical conductors made by these methods.

A film forming formulation and applicator device for use with the film forming formulation for obtaining sharp paint lines on textured surfaces is described. The formulation comprises a binder as a film forming component. The binder is selected from the group consisting of acrylic, styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), polyvinyl acetate (PVAc), and ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA). The binder comprises at least 90 percent by weight of the formulation.

The applicator device comprises an applicator head having an adaptor and a supply reservoir having a neck for attachment to the adaptor of the applicator head. The applicator head comprises a brush comprised of aligned bristles with the bristles affixed in a brush retainer, a brush reservoir within the brush retainer for holding the film forming formulation within the applicator head, a flow orifice to provide flow of the film forming formulation to the brush reservoir, and an adaptor for attachment to a neck of the supply reservoir for supplying the film forming formulation.

A thermosetting powder coating composition having good handling characteristics and capable of being baked under relatively mild conditions and providing a coating having practically satisfactory properties. This coating composition is prepared by incorporating in 100 parts by weight of an epoxy group-containing acrylic or methacrylic copolymer having a glass transition point of 30.degree. to 90.degree. C. and a weight average molecular weight of 2,500 to 30,000, said copolymer consisting of 3 to 35% by weight of acrylate or methacrylate monomer units and 97 to 65% by weight of ethylenically unsaturated monomer units, 3 to 40 parts by weight of a specific diphenol having at its both terminals hydroxybenzoic acid ester structures as represented by the general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.3 stands for a hydrocarbon radical having 2 to 20 carbon atoms or a linking group containing, at least at its both terminals, hydrocarbon radicals and in its main chain at least one member selected from the group consisting of an ether linkage, ester linkage, urethane linkage and amide linkage, and having totally 4 to 20 carbon atoms. Especially good results are obtained when a specific phenol compound containing in the molecule one phenolic hydroxyl group and either one carboxyl group or one hydroxyl group, or a specific benzoic acid compound containing in the molecule two carboxylic acid groups are further incorporated in this powder coating composition.

A disposable substrate of degradable material, such as a metal container, is provided with a photodegradable polymeric coating. The coating is water impermeable initially, but upon exposure to ultraviolet light degrades to become water permeable allowing water to contact and assist in degradation of the substrate. Suitable coatings are polymers containing side chain ketone groups, such as copolymers of vinyl monomers and vinyl ketones.
