摘要: A thermal management system for an enclosure containing electrical components includes a cooling unit for controlling temperature inside the enclosure and a controller for the cooling unit, the controller being configured so that it can receive a three-phase power input signal and distribute power and control connected components using the three-phase signal. The controller can protect the compressor in critical scenarios such as thermal overload and overcurrent. The controller can output various faults such as missing phase alarm, imbalance phase alarm, overcurrent alarm, thermal overload alarm, door open alarm, and temperature and pressure alarms. An auto phase sequence correction controls the phase relay, accepting 3 phase 480 VAC power input from facility power terminal, supplying 3 phase power to the compressor and motor impellers, 12V DC power to a display unit, and 24V DC power to a remote access control module.

摘要: In other features, a refrigeration system is provided and includes a compressor motor, an inverter, a converter and a control module. The inverter is configured to convert a direct current (DC) bus voltage to an alternating current (AC) voltage and supply the AC voltage to the compressor motor. The converter is configured to convert a DC input voltage to the DC bus voltage. The control module is configured to obtain a parameter and in response to the parameter exceeding a predetermined threshold, reduce the DC bus voltage and at least one of (i) reduce a switching frequency, (ii) increase an amount of negative d-axis current of the compressor motor, or (iii) reduce a speed of the compressor motor.

摘要: In order to improve a method for selecting a frequency converter for a refrigerant compressor unit that includes a refrigerant compressor and an electric drive motor such that the frequency converter is selected in a manner for optimized use, it is proposed that a working state suitable for operation of the refrigerant compressor unit should be selected within an application field of an application graph of the refrigerant compressor, that an operating frequency for this selected working state should be selected, and that a working state operating current value that corresponds to the selected working state and the selected operating frequency should be determined from drive data, for operation of the refrigerant compressor unit.

The air-conditioner comprises at least one rotating or reciprocating element adapted to rotate or reciprocate at a variable frequency. The variable frequency including one or more nuisance frequencies at which vibration or noise within the air-conditioner or the conditioned space causes a nuisance. A processor (30) programmed to control variation of the variable frequency in response to operational requirement. The processor is configured to operate the at least one rotating or reciprocating element so as to substantially exclude operation at the one or more nuisance frequencies.

摘要: A multi-pulse transformer with multiple taps provides a constant magnitude voltage output to a variable speed chiller's compressor motor over a range of input voltages. The 3-phase transformer includes primary windings and a plurality of secondary windings. The secondary windings are electromagnetically coupled with the associated primary winding. The primary windings include taps for receiving multiple input AC voltages and the secondary windings have a single output terminal for supplying a predetermined output voltage which, after rectification produces a DC multi-pulse waveform for powering a DC link of a variable speed drive. Alternatively the 3-phase transformer includes multiple taps on the secondary windings. Each of the primary windings has a terminal for receiving an input AC voltage. The taps of the secondary windings provide an output voltage that is converted to a multi-pulse waveform for powering a DC link of a variable speed drive.

摘要: The oil level in a compressor is lowered upon activation of the compressor. A heat pump-type heating device of the present invention includes: a refrigerant circuit in which a compressor, a heat-source-side heat exchanger, a motor-operated valve, and a target-side heat exchanger are provided; and an outdoor fan which is provided for the heat-source-side heat exchanger. The target-side heat exchanger is capable of heating, by a refrigerant, fluid supplied from outside. The rotation number of the outdoor fan upon activation of the compressor when a difference between a temperature of the fluid supplied to the target-side heat exchanger and an outside temperature is equal to or larger than a predetermined temperature difference is smaller than the rotation number when the difference is smaller than the predetermined temperature difference.

The processing circuitry determines the new baseline freeze time for a predetermined time following an installation event, a service event, or a power outage of the compressor.

The method includes: determining a d-axis resistance of an electric motor and a Q-axis resistance of the electric motor as a function of a bulk current; determining a d-axis inductance of the electric motor and a Q-axis inductance of the electric motor as a function of the bulk current; generating an estimated flux of the electric motor based on the d-axis resistance of the electric motor, the Q-axis resistance of the electric motor, the d-axis inductance of the electric motor, and the Q-axis inductance of the electric motor; generating an estimated angle of the electric motor based on the estimated flux of the electric motor; and, based on the estimated angle of the electric motor, controlling switching of an inverter that powers the electric motor.

The inverter control unit includes: a phase current reproduction unit that reproduces a direct current into phase currents flowing to a permanent magnet synchronous motor; a current coordinate transformation unit that transforms the reproduced phase current into current on a control coordinate axis of a rotating coordinate system; a current control unit that calculates a voltage command value of the permanent magnet synchronous motor in such a manner that the current on the control coordinate axis equals a specific value; and a limiter unit that limits the value of the voltage command value.
